At Gamescon today, NetherRealm Studios revealed a new character for their DC Fighter, Injustice: God Among Us, Catwoman. Her combos rely on her agility, claw attacks and using her whip as well. She joins Superman, The Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman, Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn, Nightwing and Cyborg. Below you can view her trailer.
Amazon actually has what might be the covers for Wii U games. Assassin’s Creed III and Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth‘s covers both have yellow curves, with a blue border above and the Wii U logo. These may very well be placeholders, so don’t completely freak out just yet.

Today, Nintendo announced that it will be doing a brand new Nintendo Direct with news regarding the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS. It is widely speculated that Nintendo may reveal the price point and launch date of the new Nintendo console during this event. With regards to the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS, anything can be announced. Could it be that Nintendo is about to show off a brand new and bigger 3DS or will there be more software announced? Will this work in tandem with the Nintendo Network?

Ubisoft revealed more details for Zombi U, their Wii U-exclusive zombie title aimed at the hardcore audience.
According to Ubisoft, “One bite and you’re dead”. The game features elements that employ use of the Wii U Gamepad, such as unique HUDs, hacking of doors, and aiming into the sights and scopes of various weapons.
Nintendo announced during their E3 Press Briefing a new title for Wii U, called NintendoLand.
Developed to be the “game that makes you understand the Wii U,” Nintendoland is a party game that features your Mii exploring a Nintendo theme park, loaded with attractions and games to play that tie to various Nintendo franchises.
Nintendo aims for the game to be fun for both multiplayer and single player gamers, and will tie in closely with Miiverse, Nintendo’s online community infrastructure.
Promising Asymmetric gameplay, Nintendo did an on-stage demo of Luigi’s Ghost Mansion, one of the multiplayer attractions found in the game. This minigame features 4 players on Wii Remotes in a maze trying to find and successfully drain the health of a ghost, being controlled by a single player on a Wii U gamepad.
The game looks like a compilation of various Wii U tech demos we saw introduced at last year’s E3 Briefing.
Nintendo confirmed today that the Wii Fit franchise is coming to Wii U.
Wii Fit U will feature new ways to burn calories via new mini games, as well as the ability to upload data from a “Fit Meter”. The game can be fully played on the Wii U Gamepad, allowing for exercising to continue.
Warner Bros. and 5th Cell announced the development of Scribblenauts Universe today, available on Wii U.

New to the game is BAT mode, which is accessed via the Gamepad and will allow players to play the game in a whole new way. You’re able to use the Gamepad to spray walls with explosives, throw batarangs, as well as many other gadgets
Nintendo confirmed that the Wii U will support 2 Gamepads at the same time, as well as detailing more about their new controller at E3.

A Great Idea Solves Multiple Problems at the Same Time
This quote from Shigeru Miyamoto describes the Wii U GamePad, says Satoru Iwata. This is what describes the now named Wii U GamePad. Nintendo is stepping into the social networking scene with a leap by combining message boards and a console called the Miiverse.
Tonight at 6pm EDT over at the Nintendo Direct website Satoru Iwata will be hosting a broadcast revealing new information about the Wii U.
While no other information has been revealed about what they will be showcasing during the broadcast, it could anything from new games, a price point or just some announcements as to what they will announce at E3. So we’re just 3 hours away from hearing the first information from one of the 3 big names in gaming.

Details surrounding the operating system Nintendo’s upcoming Wii-U have supposedly leaked online. All of this information seems very tentative considering the fact that the poster mentioned that these details came from a “Version 4 development kit” that is supposedly a few months old.
This information is supposedly two months old and may change considering the fact that the Wii-U is not expected to be released until October or November. The Wii-U’s OS will be reportedly one of the largest in console history clocking in at 512MB. Apparently the operating system run by the Wii-U has “never been seen before on a home console”. Despite these claims that the WIi-U’s OS will be revolutionary Nintendo is keeping the dashboard close to its chest, developers currently do not have access to it.
Hopefully Nintendo will shed some light on this new revolutionary dashboard at next month’s E3 conference.
