Dawn of War III Is Ready To Usher In A New Generation of Warfare

It’s an all-out blood bath in the cinematic debut trailer for 2017’s Dawn of War III. Lasting over 4 minutes in length this trailer showcases a brutal war between the Imperium (humans), Orks and the Eldar. Set for a 2017 release on Windows PC with develop duties being handled by long time Warhammer 40K RTS developer Relic Entertainment in collaboration with Games Workshop this latest Dawn of War title will hopefully satiate fan’s appetites – as they’ve been waiting since 2009 for more Dawn of War goodness.

The trailer ends with the haunting line “In the face of death, I shall have no remorse…”

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War franchise Free to Play!

As a thank you to the players, Relic is making their Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Franchise free to play from Septmber 24th 10am PDT though till September 27th 1pm PDT. This includes Dawn of War I and II and their respective expansions. In addition to that, all included content will be on sale for 75% off until September 28th at 10am PDT.

Not to leave out current players, Relic has released a new multiplayer map for Dawn of War I along with the expansions Dark Crusade and Soulstorm expansions: The Temple of Cyrene. In addition to that, four free sets of Wargear to be used in the main campaign  are being given away for Dawn of War II players: The Vanguard, Sniper, Sterngaurd, and Destroyer.

This is a perfect time if you’re a fan of the DoW franchise and wanted to complete your collection or even to check it out this weekend!

Company of Heroes 2 Ready To Be Deployed Sometime Next Year

Long time RTS developer Relic Entertainment is set to unveil the next entry in their World War II franchise Company of Heroes in the next issue of PC Magazine. A user on the popular forum NeoGaf spotted an early copy of the magazine which contains a preview of the upcoming Company of Heroes 2.

COH2, due out in 2013, shifts things over to Europe’s eastern front according to the PC Magazine cover story. This of course means that your forces will be battling it out on cold Soviet tundra during battles like Operation Barbarosa, The Battle of Stalingrad and the battle at Kursk.
