NIS America announced yesterday that they are bringing Rodea The Sky Soldier to North America and Europe this fall. The game is being released for both the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The game will also be available as a digital download on the Nintendo eShop.
The brainchild of Yuji Naka and Zin Hasegawa, Rodea: The Sky Soldier brings speed and adventure together in this new journey through the sky.
Here are a bit of details about the upcoming game.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse – In this colorful new adventure, guide Kirby through a vibrant world made of clay by drawing Rainbow Ropes on the Wii U GamePad controller. You can even mold your clay Kirby into a Tank, Submarine or Rocket to wreak havoc. Up to three friends can join in and play as Waddle Dee characters to explore levels with you. Citizens of Earth – Demo Available – Try your hand at being Vice President of the World in the free Citizens of Earth demo, available now in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D – Available Feb. 13 – In this re-mastered and enhanced 3D version of the Nintendo classic, a masked Skull Kid drags Link into the world of Termina, where the moon is falling from the sky. Lucky for Termina, Link can reverse time and relive his last 72 hours in limitless ways. Each time, he’ll don any of his 20+ masks collected throughout the game, help different citizens, battle different bosses and ultimately change the fate of a world. ACE COMBAT Assault Horizon Legacy + – The critically acclaimed aerial combat series flies onto Nintendo 3DS. Wii U established new benchmarks for hardware and software sales in a single month in December. This helped total hardware and software sales in 2014 increase by more than 29 percent and more than 75 percent, respectively, over sales in 2013.
Nintendo 3DS also had a strong December, including its largest month ever for first-party software sales. This was primarily fueled by Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, which has already surpassed 2 million combined physical and digital units sold in a little more than three months, and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, which have combined to sell over 2.6 million physical and digital units in their first six weeks.

Nintendo has today announced that a Nintendo Direct will air tomorrow, Wednesday January 14th, with the news focusing on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U releases for spring 2015.
The broadcast will be hosted by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.

Mighty Gunvolt – Mighty Gunvolt is an old-school 8-bit NES-style retro mini-adventure starring Gunvolt and Beck from the upcoming action game Mighty No. 9. Play as one of three heroes, each with his or her own unique powers, as you run, double-jump, dash and blast your way through five stages of baddies and bosses. Nintendo announced some sales figures for Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U yesterday and the numbers are looking good.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is now the fastest-selling Wii U title ever in the U.S. market, beating out previous title Mario Kart 8, with more than 490,000 physical and digital units combined sold during the three-day period of November 21st through November 23rd.
The game has been a hit with critics as well and Smash currently has a Metacritic score of 92. Fan reaction to the game has been overwhelmingly positive as well. The news isn’t surprising as the game has been highly anticipated, especially since the last game in the series was released six years ago. The series has sold more than 14 million games to date in the United States and this new success is great news for Nintendo.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U – Face off against a massive roster of video game all-stars! Send your rivals flying with powerful attacks to earn new customizable equipment that trick out your fighter’s moves and stats.
