Eden Games teases new racing title Gear.Club Unlimited for Nintendo Switch

Microïds and Eden Games today teased their next car racing game which is planned for Q4 2017 on the Nintendo Switch.

Gear.Club Unlimited will offer players a driving experience behind the wheel of prestigious cars from leading brands. The teaser for the game says that gamers will have to demonstrate a strong competitive spirit during frantic races to win championships and set the fastest lap times, alone or against their friends. In order to make their cars ever more powerful and aggressive, players can customize them from body to engine.

Resident Evil Revelations comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One August 29, Late 2017 on Nintendo Switch

Now updated for current generation consoles, acclaimed survival horror title Resident Evil Revelations is making its way to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2017. The game features longtime veterans Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they investigate the reportedly abandoned “Queen Zenobia” cruise ship.

This new version will feature a smoother 1920×1080 resolution, an improved framerate, increased environmental detail and refined creature movement, defining the best-looking version of the game to date. All previously released downloadable content is also included in the game as unlockable rewards.

Resident Evil Revelations was originally a Nintendo 3DS title and was released in February 2012. A home console re-release of the game followed in May 2013 for PS3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii U.

Pokken Tournament DX Academy To be Featured At EVO 2017

Attendees of this year’s EVO Tournament won’t need to have trained up to a professional level to enjoy hands-on time with Nintendo’s upcoming enhanced port of Pokken Tournament thanks to the announcement of the Pokken Tournament Academy booth.

Visitors to the Pokken Tournament Academy booth can try out DX almost a full two months before it is released on September 22nd. Visitors will also be able to chat with members of the development team, enter a contest to win their own Nintendo Switch console and possibly most importantly receive a special invitation to a undisclosed Nintendo event taking place later this year at PAX West.

Here’s the low down on the where and when for Pokken Tournament DX’s EVO appearance:

The original Wii U version of Pokken Tournament was released in July of 2015. Now two years later Nintendo is updating the game for their home console / portable hybrid, the Nintendo Switch, with the addition of previously DLC only Pokemon: Croagunk, Scizor, Empoleon, Darkrai and the DX exclusive Decidueye. New multiplayer centric modes have also been added to the DX version, to entice Trainers to battle against their friends on a whole new platform.

This morning Nintendo held their most recent Nintendo Direct with the focus squarely set on their freshest game yet, Splatoon 2. The game is of course the sequel to Splatoon which was a refreshing game when it launched for the Wii U two years ago.

Splatoon 2 game launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console in just a couple of weeks and Nintendo branded this Nintendo Direct with the Squid Research Lab to provide a refresher on some of the new and returning features coming to the squid sequel. The special Nintendo Direct presentation highlighted many of the game’s new features, new weapons, new locations, and its fresh new styles. The video also touched on SplatNet 2, the new service for mobile devices that displays information about Splatoon 2 like stage schedules, gear and stats. SplatNet 2 is part of the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app which launches on July 21, which lets players send multiplayer invites to their friends via social media, as well as enables the use of voice chat in battles.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst – Rather than make a direct sequel to their bite-sized 2D action game Mighty Gunvolt from 2014, Inti Creates has made the next installment in the Mighty Gunvolt series a brand new full-sized game that features characters from multiple universes with Gunvolt (Azure Striker Gunvolt) and Beck (Mighty No. 9) taking the stage once again, but in a much deeper and more expansive world that differs greatly from the original in many ways.

6180 the moon – 6180 the moon is a platformer game with a unique mechanic. It offers a fresh, unseen game play style by connecting both of upper and bottom screens. This allows in a mechanic with delightfully long jumps and no fear of slipping to death. In addition to the unique gameplay, 6180 the moon delivers a unique storyline. The Sun has gone. Three new amiibo planned for Super Mario Odyssey

Nintendo has plans for three more amiibo to coincide with the release of Super Mario Odyssey in October. The three amiibo will be of Mario, Peach, and Bowser decked out in wedding garb.

In Super Mario Odyssey you will join Mario on a massive, globe-trotting 3D adventure and use his incredible new abilities to collect Moons so you can power up your airship, the Odyssey, and rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding plans! Ubisoft bring Mario+Rabbids tactic game to Switch

Ubisoft announced on Monday during their media presentation that they are teaming up with Nintendo to bring a new game to the Switch. The game has been a work in progress for about three years and was finally unveiled today.

The world of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is full of zany characters, luscious environments, and crazy worlds to explore. Today, we’ll be giving you a glimpse of the Ancient Gardens world.

Ancient Gardens is the first world that you’ll encounter on your journey through Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. As its name implies, it is a mystical place full of foliage, creatures, gorgeous water and well….since the Rabbids came to town, a few funky structures, amongst other oddities.

The Garden itself used to be a peaceful, tranquil place, where Goombas would roam the lands in grumpy bliss. Now though, the pesky Rabbids have stormed the place and painted the area in their specific brand of chaos, and of course, it’s up to you and your squad to take the power back!
