With the holiday season getting ever crowded with big name titles like Borderlands 2, Assassin’s Creed 3, Halo 4, etc… Sometimes there are titles that are overlooked because of people’s budgets or other things. Atlus and Frogwares are looking to lighten the load on your wallet as they have announced today that The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes will now ship at a MSRP of $39.99 instead of the original pricing at $49.99 for all three platforms.
For more information on The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes you can check out the official website here: http://www.sherlockholmes-thegame.com./
The Testament Of Sherlock Holmes finds its’ way to stores September 25th, 2012. Will this price reduction entice you to buy this now if you hadn’t planned on it already?

Focus Home Interactive has just announced that The Testament of Sherlock Holmes will make its way to the Xbox® 360, PlayStation® 3 and PC sometime in September. The Testament of Sherlock Holmes marks the first console release of Frogwares’ seemingly limitless series of puzzle games staring the the master detective.
This time around Sherlock is the main suspect in a series of crimes. He’s one the lam, unable to prove his innocence (at least initially), and must investigate these crimes using what Focus Home Interactive calls a new “deduction” system. I’ve never played these games, so I don’t know what exactly this deduction system entails. However, I do know that you’ll get to interrogate people (a favorite pastime of mine) and can chose which leads to follow up on and which to ignore.
Since Sherlock was able to take on Cthulhu once, so I doubt Scotland Yard will cause him too much trouble.
You can see new pictures from the game after the jump.
