The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at E3

Posted on June 15, 2016 by Jason Nason

Nintendo spent much of Tuesday spotlighting and showing off The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and it looks amazing. In the little that was previously revealed about the game, one of the things that was touted was the amount of open world there would be in the game. And in what was shown so far at E3 that is an understatement. The world is immense, and only a small fraction of that world was shown off today. I won’t go into too much detail with all of that though. You can read the details directly from Nintendo’s release

E3 2016: Six Minutes of Dead Rising 4 Gameplay

Posted on June 15, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

At E3 2016 I got the opportunity to not only check out Dead Rising 4 in action but also get the chance to have one of the employees from Capcom Vancouver narrate the entire on-floor demonstration. Frank West returns to Willamette Colarado at Christmas time in the Capcom’s latest zombie slaying title, the site of the original outbreak incident outlined in 2006’s Dead Rising 1. Players checking out Dead Rising 4 were only able to play as Frank in a small section of Willamette but Capcom Vancouver informed us that the total map size in the final game will be

Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice story detailed

Posted on June 14, 2016 by Jason Nason

Capcom revealed some new information about upcoming Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is being presented in demo form at E3, with the new demo introducing bright-eyed monk-in-training and self-styled tour guide Ahlbi Ur’gaid, who has been accused of stealing the Kingdom of Khura’in’s national treasure, “The Founder’s Orb,” and murdering its guard, Paht Rohl. Under the kingdom’s legal system, if the defendant is proven guilty, so is the representing attorney. This has led to the absence of lawyers for many years, but visiting attorney Phoenix Wright steps in to defend Ahlbi

Capcom announces Resident Evil 7

Posted on June 14, 2016 by Jason Nason

It’s going to get seriously creep in July. Capcom showed off a teaser trailer for Resident Evil 7 biohazard at the Sony Interactive Entertainment E3 press conference last night. And it looks slick. Resident Evil 7 looks to be going back to its roots as it puts the story right back to where it all began – in the middle of nowhere. And to make things even more terrifying the game is going to be set in first person view in a photorealistic style. There hasn’t been a first person Resident Evil game since the side-game Reside Evil Survivor. Resident

Three of The Biggest Disappoints From Sony’s E3 Press Conference

Posted on June 14, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

Sitting in the massive crowd at Sony’s E3 press conference was surreal, when the event wrapped up my hands were shaking and my heart pounding but in the back of my mind it felt like there was something left unsaid. In the world of games journalism you have to take every leak, slip of the tongue and rumor with a dump truck of salt and even then that isn’t enough skepticism. Here is a quick run-down of three of things that the internet told me I should have expected to be announced. #3 – More Details About The Final Fantasy

E3 Hands-On: Titanfall 2 Multiplayer

Posted on June 14, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

At EA’s new publicly accessible EA Play Event two teams of paramilitary soldiers battle it out for supremacy in multiplayer matches of Titanfall 2. I got the chance alongside our own Fionna Fox to try out one ten minute match during our visit to EA Play this afternoon. Find out why Titanfall 2 looks to take everything good from the first game and some great new mechanics that change how the flow of battle unfurls. I played one of the two available classes in the EA Access demo version of the game – this class came complete with an automatic

EA play is it necessary?

Posted on June 14, 2016 by Fionna Schweit

So this year EA has decided that they need to have their own E3, right next to E3, but in the days leading up to E3. Well, Rae and myself managed to get media registered and get ourselves in to EA Play (which is what the event is called) where we were able to see and play the best upcoming EA titles. This is a major change from a closed show floor that’s normally seen. Anyone who was in LA could walk up to the desk and register for the chance to go in and play EA’s biggest suite of

This latest demonstration showcases our heroine, Aloy, collecting crafting materials and then taking a quest from a near by NPC to save a village from a large techno dinosaur. Our brief glimpse at the game ends with her finding an odd piece of technology that “looks very old” before the screen fades to black. Multiple collector’s editions have been confirmed for Horizon Zero Dawn – for $70 USD the Horizon Zero Dawn Digital Limited Edition will give players two bonus resources

Of course Crash Bandicoot has been a longtme sibling game to Spyro the Dragon, on which the entire Skylanders series was based. He has come to announce the once-in-two-decades Synchronization Celebration–a time when all of the worlds align perfectly. All the inhabitants of Wumpa Island are having a party and they
