Posted on October 2, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

According to a popular post on the Resident Evil sub reddit the next entry in the franchise might be locked to PlayStation VR for a period of one year. Poster Xx-MCXCVI-xX says that they encountered an advert for Capcom’s upcoming first person horror experience on Facebook and that the small text at the bottom of that advertisement states that RE7 is “PlayStation VR exclusive for 12 months, Capcom plans to bring Resident Evil 7 to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC next January, so this exclusivity window must pertain to just the VR exclusive features. It is not known currently

Early Access MMORPG LinkRealms Going Free To Play

Posted on October 2, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

LinkRealms a Steam Early Access MMORPG that attempts to recreate the glory days of Ultima Online will go free to play as of October 10th developer Mythyn has announced. They believe that the game is ready for a wider audience thanks to the success of recent updates that have brought features like criminal status, newcomer enhancements and class adjustments to the game. Mythyn describes their game as a “hardcore sandbox MMORPG” with a set of “old school design choices” and challenging dungeons. Basically, it sounds like this game ignores every genre convention or breakthrough that has occurred since the mid-90s. Currently

Batman: The Telltale Series- Episode 2: Children of Arkham | REVIEW

Posted on October 2, 2016 by Meghan Kass

With a strong start to Telltale’s adaptation of DC’s Batman lore, can the next episode continue picking up momentum and make the next part of the story just as exciting as the first? I did not know what to expect going into this episode, considering I have found each Telltale game has it’s highs and lows during each series, but I had hoped for the best. What resulted after my time with the episode was a mix of feelings. The second episode picks up where the first left off. Without giving too much of the story away, Bruce is still

Destiny: Rise Of Iron | REVIEW

Posted on September 29, 2016 by Les Major

New Fallen Splicers
Considering it sounds like Bungie was hoping to have Destiny 2 out by now and Rise of Iron wasn’t originally in the cards, you’d be hard pressed to know it. In this expansion you venture into the plaguelands, a patrol area that overlaps some of the sections of classic Earth patrol with a new snowy theme. Along with the change in the weather comes signs of a vicious battle as well as strands of red vines called Siva, a nanite weapon that is growing out of control. By this point with Rise of Iron being the fourth Destiny expansion, you

Polara | REVIEW

Posted on September 24, 2016 by Jason Nason

I’ve played my share of runners with most of them being the endless variety. You run and run, avoiding enemies or other obstacles until you eventually fall. You try to beat out your top score or the scores others on a high score chart. But while Polara is a runner it’s not in the endless variety, which gives this game much more lasting power and makes it more satisfying to play. The year is 2140 and a civil war rages between the upper and lower classes, resulting in a militant defense initiative nation wide by the governing bodies. In an

The Road to the Emerald Nightmare

Posted on September 24, 2016 by Kaylan Heineman

The Road to the Emerald Nightmare: Questing, Leveling, and Gearing Before Legion’s First Raid A great deal has happened since Blizzard Entertainment launched the 6th expansion to their perennial hit MMO, World of Warcraft titled Legion, on August 30, 2016. As someone who began her journey through Azeroth back in the ancient days of 2004, this has been a reawakening and revitalization of the online game’s content and gameplay and frankly I have not had this much fun in this game since Wrath of the Lich King sat on my desk in 2010. EVERYTHING has changed in this game in
