Lego Dimensions Gremlins Trailer Featuring Marceline

Posted on November 10, 2016 by Les Major

Marceline and Gizmo
Keeping fun and enjoyable, Lego Dimensions is rolling out even more content later this month! Already the likes of A-Team, Mission Impossible, Ghostbusters (2016), and even Harry Potter have joined the cross franchise ranks. Of course the best of all of this content is the ability to unlock adventure worlds which are typically big free roam stages that allow you to quest around a big Lego level based on that franchise. Unlocking them is really simplistic and even cost effective as well. All you need is any character from a specific Franchise to unlock that adventure world. So even if

Kickstarter Games Festival: Ghost Arcade and the passion of Indie Development

Posted on November 9, 2016 by Meghan Kass

No matter the entertainment enjoyed, one of the most fun things about independent media are attending festivals and small events. Whether it’s and independent film festival, music festival or art gallery, such events leave an intimate, passionate atmosphere that is almost infectious. I recently had the pleasure of attending such an event for indie gaming, the Kickstarter Games Festival: Ghost Arcade, at Bric in Brooklyn. The experience of trying new games, meeting developers and playing with other indie fans was something truly unique and reminded me why I enjoy the indie game scene as much as I do. The festival

Circle to release Kutar series for 3DS on Thursday

Posted on November 8, 2016 by Jason Nason

What is Kutar? Kutar is the character who has an incredible expressionless emotion that can’t be distinguished by laughing or crying. Kutar is not a dog, cat or bear. Kutar is always Kutar no matter where he is going or doing. In all seriousness, Kutar is a series of microgames developed by Giga Rensya and being released by Circle Entertainment in North America on Thursday. The games, ten of them in all, each retail for $0.99 USD. It’s not clear if they will be sold as a bundle at this point. They look pretty crazy, but for such a small

Posted on November 8, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

Alright so I am a little late on this one – it actually went live on Halloween Night – but Sony has released a massive 6GB Patch for DriveClub. Adding 15 brand new tracks that were formally exclusive to DriveClub VR this update gives players even more content to play in Sony’s two year old racing title. Sony’s would be marquee racing franchise didn’t do as well as the publisher had expected – after multiple delays, a troubled PlayStation Plus edition and the eventual closure of developer Evolution Studios there is a good chance this is the final patch for DriveClub. These new courses do sport

Nintendo plays it smart with Animal Crossing update

Posted on November 7, 2016 by Jason Nason

Now Nintendo could have gone the money route and made a brand new Animal Crossing game. Animal Crossing: New Leaf was released for the Nintendo 3DS back in back in 2013, so it’s been three years since its release. And when you consider that this is the forth game in the main series, and the games have been released about every three to four years apart, it wouldn’t have been at all surprising if they had. Sure we had spinoffs Happy Home Designer and amiibo Festival in 2015 but we’re talking the main game. So it came as a huge

Niantic Enrages Pokemon Go Players By Speed Limiting PokeStops

Posted on November 7, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

The latest Pokemon Go update on both Android and iOS adds some great additions like daily quests and bonus XP for taking over gyms but players have found that PokeStops are no longer commuter friendly. In the past if your character was traveling faster than what the game considers walking speed you would need to tap an “I’m a passenger!” dialogue box in-order to continue playing the game. After this latest update the dialogue box still appears but attempting to spin a PokeStop while on a commuter train or in a car may result in a “Please Try Again” message.
