A free Holiday Pack will be available for everyone and includes a special Warrior’s Fanfare, a band which stops the party from earning experience, admission to a special holiday carnival and a special Chocobo themed t-shirt. Hiring A Monetization Expert Won’t Save DOOM But It Could Improve Quake Champions

Id Software, developers of this year’s breakout shooter DOOM and the upcoming Quake Champions, are looking to bring aboard an expert on in-game monetization according to a recent job posting found online. While it is highly improbable that this will have any impact on DOOM’s existing player base it could have ramifications for the mostly still under wraps Quake project that is supposed to have a larger presence / possible release next year. Teyon set to release Mini Golf Resort on 3DS next week

Teyon announced today that they are releasing an new minigolf game in the Nintendo 3DS eShop next week. The game, called Mini Golf Resort, will hit the North American eShop next Thursday, December 22nd. The Mini Golf Resort will come packed with 56 courses in four unique worlds. Worlds included are Pirate’s Bay, Spooky World, Pyramids of Egypt and Legends of Greece. Deep Silver and Sega Team Up To Publish Valkyria Revolution In The West

Gaijin Entertainment Announces Enlisted, A New WW2 Shooter

After almost a decade of military shooters being set in the near future or modern day, it looks like developers are looking to take players back to the WW2 theaters of battle. Publisher Gaijin Entertainment in collaboration with developers Dark Flow Software jointly announced their newest FPS title, Enlisted, for release on Windows PC in the second half of 2017. Enlisted is billed as taking a different approach to the Second World War when compared with other games. New Pokémon and Holiday Pikachu added to Pokémon GO

Niantic and Nintendo spread a little bit of holiday cheer today with the announcment of some new Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO. Togepi and Pichu will start hatching from Eggs. Starting today, trainers will have the opportunity to hatch these and several other Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Johto Region in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games. Niantic also shared that these are the first of more Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO over the next few months.

Report: EVE Online Creators CCP Being Eyed For Buy-Out
