That’s One Small Ouya!

Posted on August 7, 2012 by Seung Lee

The $99 Ouya is really small; it looks like it could fit into the palm of your hand. One of the few images released today on the console’s Kickstarter page happened to give away the Android-powered console’s shape and size. It basically looks like a small black-and-white GameCube (well, sort of, anyway). Don’t laugh the Ouya off just yet though, because some new features that were also revealed today might just tickle your fancy.

Call of Duty Black Ops II Multiplayer Reveal Trailer

Posted on August 7, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

There is so much to dissect from the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops I trailer it’s insane. In just two minutes and seventeen seconds Activision shows us several weapons and tools of destructions. If you’re a fan of unmanned vehicles and gunships, there are tons of those. There are even a few up close and personal options I can’t wait to try like the stun-gun like proximity grenade shown at the begining of the trailer or the throwing knives shown at the end. We’ll hopefully be able to dissect the entire trailer later on in the day. Until then

Rumor: Amazon Leaks WiiU Box Art

Posted on August 7, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

There are still a lot of things we don’t know about Nintendo’s upcoming WiiU including the device’s price, how much the games will cost and what their box art will look like. One of these deep burning might have been answered thanks to several Amazon listings. If the box art listed on Amazon for Avengers Battle for Earth and Assassins Creed III are accurate than the WiiU Box art looks very similar to the GameCube’s box art, color scheme notwithstanding. The supposed WiiU box’s sport a baby blue header with white “Wii U” branding and a yellow border separating the

ScourgeOutbreak
If you don’t know what exactly Scourge: Outbreak is, I don’t blame you. I had no clue that it existed until I read an article about it. That’s A Lot Of Levels For LittleBigPlanet

Posted on August 6, 2012 by Seung Lee

LBP
Media Molecule, the team behind LittleBigPlanet, has revealed today that seven million levels (and still going strong!) have been created across all of the games for the franchise. It hasn’t been too long since the very first LBP was released on the PS3 in ’08. Now, I’m not going to say each of these seven million levels are amazing, or worth your time to play, but you can’t say that you’re not getting bang for your buck with a LBP game. Check out Media Molecule’s blog post celebrating the recent accomplishment here, and see the picture detailing it here.

Posted on August 6, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Rise of the Triad, a modern remake of a 1995 classic from Apogee Software, was revealed this past weekend at QuakeCon and attendees got the chance to frag the hell out of each other at the show. Now that the doors have closed in Dallas Texas media has been put online for the rest of us to enjoy. The game’s debut trailer give us a flyby view of a medieval castle  (forgive me if I got the time period wrong) that has been converted into a military prison of some sort.
