Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Is Coming To iOS

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Seung Lee

It seems that The World Ends With You won’t be the only popular DS game to receive an HD-enhanced iOS port. Capcom has announced that the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy on the DS (which was also on the Gameboy Advance, but only in Japan) will be available on the App Store for 5.0 or higher iOS devices. The first two out of five episodes for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will be free to everyone, but the rest of the episodes and the other two games, Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations, will have to be bought separately or

No Nintendo Wii U News in September?

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Jason Bassett

If you got to watch the Nintendo Direct this morning, we bet you were probably a little disappointed by the outcome: No Wii U information. You did get a slew of new 3DS information, however. But, today Nintendo president: Satora Iwata killed any hope that information will be during the conference on his Twitter (if you can read that, then you are a wizard) feed: There are more than a few people who are thinking, ‘There will be a Nintendo Conference in September.’ I want to tell you in advance that the announcement of the Wii U in Japan is planned in

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Far Cry 3 welcomes you to the Rook Islands in this new trailer from Ubisoft. One of the more exciting features about Far Cry 3 that I’m pumped up about is the inclusion of a co-op campaign. Granted it is seperate from the single player campaign, it’s still a great addition to the Far Cry series! Here is what Ubisoft has to say about Far Cry 3: “Join Agent Huntley, an ex-CIA operative, for an insider’s tour of the insanity of Far Cry 3. Discover the island’s history. Meet the mysterious and deadly residents. And step into a world of

In a move that might surprise those who have been following the title closely, Square Enix have announced that David Bateson is going to reprise his role as Agent 47 in the upcoming Hitman: Absolution.  Originally the publisher had declared that he would not be voicing the character, but things have changed, as they tend to do in this industry.  Full press release follows after the jump.

McPixel explodes onto iOS, $1.99 Today Only

Posted on August 27, 2012 by Jeff Wade

The World Ends With You is not the only port of a cult game with countdowns that hit iPhones today. Also available on Android, the port of the PC oddity McPixel contains dozens of absurd scenarios in short fits of lunacy inspired by Saturday Night Live’s McGrubber skits and Nintendo’s Wario Ware games. In any given moment you’ll defuse bombs in ways ranging from making copies to creating a makeshift Batsignal, with all solutions fitting with the most hilarious of adventure game logic. And you only have 20 seconds to figure it out. 15 Minute Gameplay Video Of Lost Planet 3

Posted on August 27, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Lost Planet 3 is looking even better than its’ predecessor and I personally can’t wait for more information to trickle out. With that being said, CVG got a look at Lost Planet 3 earlier this month and had the chance to grab a 15 minute gameplay video! Lost Planet 3 takes place before the first two games and Capcom has promised a story-driven approach as the first Lost Planet did.
