New Playstation 3 Model Announced

Posted on September 19, 2012 by Jason Bassett

During Sony’s pre-TGS conference today, Sony unveiled a brand new model of the Playstation 3 console. The console is said to 25% thinner and 20% lighter than it’s predecessor and has been built from the ground up. Along with it’s redesign, there will be two different models of the system. A 250GB model that will retail for around $270, a steal in my mind. Not to mention, the American 250GB model will contain the full game of Uncharted 3, a $30 digital downloads voucher and a voucher to download Dust 514. Sony also mentioned a 500GB model, unfortunately, there was

Posted on September 18, 2012 by Seung Lee

Some bad news to follow after the announcement of Dragon Age III yesterday: BioWare’s co-founders, Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka, are officially leaving both the studio and the gaming industry. These sudden departures aren’t without good reason, however. The two men have made blog posts which help clarify why exactly they’re leaving.

Grand Theft Auto III PSN Date Revealed?

Posted on September 18, 2012 by Broken Joysticks

After a long wait, Grand Theft Auto III will finally hit the Playstation Store after months of delay due to issues surrounding certain tracks of the game’s soundtrack. However the news is coming from Sony Hong Kong’s website and they have it listed for September 25th. This source could be trusted as in the past the Hong Kong PS Store has matched release dates with the US and EU. Rockstar has not officially confirmed the date for the release however. While we await the release of GTA V, why not kick it old school?

There is a lot of content we’ve come to know and love in Mario games, as well as a mix of new surprises here. There’s red coins to collect in a short time frame, three star coins per level, and invisible blocks scattered about ready to be discovered. Building on that the prominent feature of this

Fable: The Journey Demo Hits The Xbox Marketplace Today

Posted on September 17, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Fable: The Journey has been under fire from the start of its announcement with Kinect. I’ll be the first to say I was skeptical at first. I think as gamers we haven’t had those “core games” brought to Kinect the way it was first advertised by Microsoft. But when one of their bigger titles got announced as Kinect only, the internet went up in flames. I’m not saying that I will or won’t like this Fable game. I’ve liked all of them to a degree so far, but I a willing to give this one a chance. So, can you

Posted on September 17, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Speaking at GearBox Software’s Community Day CEO Randy Pitchford gave us a bit of tease as to the content of the upcoming Borderlands 2 DLC. He says that the DLC is insired by the sand cruisers in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Apparently Randy has always wanted to skid along the sand, and just maybe we’ll get to share in this experience digitally with him. He said: “I’ve always wanted to ride a sail barge and drive a Sand Skiff, I’ve always wanted to do that, and we’ve got some cool stuff that’s along those lines.” The original Borderlands
