Star Wars: First Assault Heading To XBLA?

Posted on October 1, 2012 by Joshua Rust

While not officially announced, the evidence is clear that there is indeed a game called Star Wars: First Assault and that it may be heading to Xbox Live Arcade. The above image has leaked its way onto the internet, but LucasArts still has nothing to say about it. IGN reached out to LucasArts and they all but denied it, stating “It is an exciting time at our company right now, however we don’t have any announcements at this time.” If that’s not enough proof, it was also trademarked. So what Star Wars: First Assault actually is, we have no idea.

Earth Defense Force 4 Gets An Extended Trailer

Posted on September 30, 2012 by Joshua Rust

A couple of weeks ago we brought you the first trailer for Earth Defense Force 4. While the trailer is in Japanese, that doesn’t take away from what EDF is all about: gun-blazing, insect squashing, building destroying mayhem! [youtube id=”OnmJgNwd23o” width=”600″ height=”350″] Have any of you played any of the other EDF games? I know I’ve played quite a few of them and find them extremely enjoyable – especially in the company of friends playing co-op. Earth Defense Force 4 is set to invade your consoles sometime in 2013.

Farming Simulator 2013 Trailer

Posted on September 28, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Sure, I laughed at the idea of a farming simulator too when I first heard of this. Who wouldn’t? But the fact is: without farmers…where would we get our vegetables and fruits? Farming has been around pretty much since the dawn of man. So heck, why shouldn’t it get a video game? Here is the official trailer: [youtube id=”Sr3iXZ7BqnU” width=”600″ height=”350″] No exact date has been announced forFarming Simulator 2013, but it’s (obviously) expected to release in 2013.

New Persona 4 Golden Screens Show Off Social Links

Posted on September 28, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Atlus has released several new screenshots for the upcoming PS Vita port, Persona 4: Golden. These new screenshots focus on the RPG elements of the game:  Showing the Rank Up screen and several pieces of dialogue. For the uninitiated the Persona is best described as a hybrid RPG and dating simulator. Fusing real time combat and a heavy emphasis on forming and maintained relationships Persona 4: Golden could easily be consider two different games in one. As the main character you are responsible with navigating both the TV World, where battling monstrous creatures is the norm, and the real world

Starbreeze Announces Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons

Posted on September 27, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Starbreeze Studios is by far one of my most favorite developers. From The Chronicles Of Riddick games to The Darkness…this group really puts out solid titles. So when the mention of a new game from them pops up it definately catches my attention. From this trailer, Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons reminds me of Fable 3 visually. The story is based around the two brothers searching for the ‘Water Of Life’ to save their dying father. No mention of co-op (looks like the potential is there), but both brothers must rely upon each other during their journey. [youtube id=”uPcPDFSLC2M”

Posted on September 27, 2012 by Seung Lee

Torchlight II, the underdog (in comparison to Borderlands 2) loot amassing RPG from Runic Games, is going to need a few months before it can play on the Mac, according to Runic Games CEO Matt Schaefer. During an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit, Schaefer replied to a few questions. One, was about what this article is about, and another was about the possibility of seeing Torchlight II in a Humble Indie Bundle in the future. Torchlight II is currently out on the PC, however, and it can be purchased through many different digital distribution sources, such as Steam

Darksiders 2: Argul’s Tomb Review

Posted on September 26, 2012 by Joshua Rust

When it comes to downloadable content, especially without achievements (yes, I’m an addict), I am cautious when buying certain ones. I like DLC that expands upon a game’s story or content. Unless you pre-ordered the Limited Edition of Darksiders 2, you didn’t get the redeemable code for Argul’s Tomb. Fear not! We are here to offer up our opinion so that can you can make the decision yourself as to whether it’s worth your time and/or money to purchase this expansion. So read on!
