New GTA V Artwork Found at GameStop

Posted on January 28, 2013 by Jason Nason

An observant person at a local Gamestop store stumbled upon some new artwork for the upcoming game GTA V. The art is part of the preorder campaign for the game from Rockstar and there are two pieces in question. The first features someone racing through shallow water under a bridge brandishing a machine gun. There is a helicopter visible overhead which likely means that the person is being chased by the police. The second shows another masked man inside a jewelry store holding another automatic weapon.

Slicing And Dicing The First Hour of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Posted on January 28, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Is there anything more badass than a Cyborg Ninja? With augmented features like a steel exoskeleton, an array of sensors and lightning quick reflexes, they are one of the most adept, albeit fictional, combatants. I am happy to report that controlling Raiden in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance  is as smooth as butter and feels absolutely fantastic. Oh? You played the demo and already knew this? Well, I got a chance to check out a near final build of the game this past week, and I’m fully prepared to share the experience of spending an hour in Raiden’s shoes, err, heels.

Scribblenauts Unlimited | Review

Posted on January 28, 2013 by Les Major

Version tested: Wii U Scribblenauts surprised gamers with the ability to write virtually anything that comes to mind in Max’s notebook and have it pop into the game to help solve puzzles. That concept has grown beyond just being confined to one level now and the game worlds introduced in Scribblenauts Unlimited are a welcome addition. This is especially true since the game is available for Wii U and PC, as well as DS this time around.

Original Half Life Now Available For OSX and Linux

Posted on January 28, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Gordon Freeman might spend a lot of time in suspended animation between the two Half Life games, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t busy killing aliens on brand new platforms. According to Cult of Mac, Valve Software has ported 1998’s Half Life to both Mac OS X and Linux. While these platforms are not confirmed on the game’s official steam page, second hand confirmation has also comes from Joystiq. Buying the game on one platform should allow you to play it on any of the above operating systems. If you don’t just want Gordon Freeman’s original adventure, which is available for

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Shows Stark Tower

Posted on January 27, 2013 by Joshua Rust

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes was just announced a few weeks ago through the Game Informer. It was such a big announcement that it even got cover honors on the magazine. I can’t explain how truly excited I was when I heard that this game was official. I figured that since WB owned Traveller’s Tales (Warner Bros. owns DC – just in case you didn’t know) that we would never see the likes of a Marvel Comics LEGO game ever. But thankfully the stars aligned and it was a dream come true. But enough of my rambling, on to the video

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen News

Posted on January 24, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Capcom is at it again. Remember how between Street Fighter 4 to Super Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs Capcom 3 to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 was impossible to update by DLC because of technical limitations? Add Dragon’s Dogma to that list as Capcom’s VP Christian Svensson explained via Capcom-Unity that Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen will be released as a standalone title as opposed to DLC for the price of $39.99.

January 24th Nintendo Download

Posted on January 24, 2013 by Jason Nason

The Cave finally lands on the Wii U this week as the highly anticipated game is released. Plus the Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign, just announced yesterday, also makes its debut with Balloon Fight. A few more Wii U and 3DS titles, but nothing for the Nintendo Wii or the Nintendo DSi. That’s a shame. I really hope that there are more DSiWare titles in the pipeline.
