GTA V Delayed until September

Rockstar Games put up a small announcement on their website this morning to share with their fans that upcoming game Grand Theft Auto V, which is their hugely anticipated title, will not be released in the spring as they had originally announced. The game will be pushed back four months and will not hit store shelves on September 17th, 2013. “We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you,” the letter wrote. “GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it

Injustice Gods Among Us Story Trailer

Warner Bros. has released a brand new trailer for NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice: Gods Among Us. Millions of lives are on the line as the Joker plans to kill millions of people and the Justice League begins to deal with the proper punishment for super villains. It is the kind of tension filled high stakes situation we’ve come to expect from comic books. If the story mode from 2011’s Mortal Kombat is any indication, then NetherRealm Studios is going to give us a lengthy, well produced and slick story mode that will keep us on the edge of our seats right

Nintendo Forecasting a Year-End Loss

Nintendo has sold just over three million Wii U systems worldwide between the system’s launch in November and the end of December. 1.3 million of those systems sold were sold in North America. The sales, while great, are off from initial forcasted expectations where the company had looked to sell 5.5 million consoles worldwide before the end of March. That forcast has been shifted to four million systems. Nintendo is blaming softer demand for older systems, including the original Wii.

Sega Girls! New DLC for PS Vita

Sega fan website SGCafe has put up some screen capture from a recent livestream which detailed a new card pack for PS Vita “free-to-play” title Samurai & Dragons. The first “Segakko 13” pack will contain personified images based on Sega’s home consoles. All thirteen such consoles are represented and artist Kei has turned all of the consoles into ‘anime girls.’

Apple Announces new 128GB iPad

Apple announced today what everyone had been buzzing about yesterday … a new iPad. But wait, before you jump up and down with excitement there is one thing you should know. This isn’t a new iPad. It’s the same iPad you (may already) have. It’s just has more storage space. The most recent iPads, including the iPad Mini, has a maximum storage capacity of 64GB, so this newly announced model has twice the storage space. This is great if you are running out of space on your current iPad and have about $1000 to drop on a shiny new one.

Ah! Heaven Coming to DSiWare [UPDATED]

Another DSiWare title is set to arrive on North American shores within the next few weeks as the latest venture from Circle Entertainment has popped up on Nintendo.com. The game is a tower style climbing platformer and will arrive on Nintendo DSiWare on February 7th. Ah! Heaven, is a platform game developed with an Eastern ink painting style. You play as a soul willing to ascend to heaven. The game’s story tells that “Though heaven’s gate is open, God will not take you there, you have to go by yourself.”

Etrian Odyssey IV Class Profile Videos

If you enjoy Etrian Odyssey, you probably know what classes you’ll be picking already. These are moreso it seems for newcomers to the series, showing what the game has in store. For those who don’t know, Etrian Odyssey is an excellent dungeon crawl designed in the genre of classics like Eye of the Beholder. However with the touch screen on the DS, or rather 3DS this time, you can map out your adventure as you continue. I’m definitely excited for the games February 26th release. How about this game is one of the best examples of character development in a game to date! Far Cry as a franchise has always been somewhat lacking, with great ideas and horrendous execution. EU Feb PS Plus Update: Sleeping Dogs, WipeOut 2048 & More

Did you miss out on this past summer’s surprise hit Sleeping Dogs? European PlayStation Plus subscribers are going to get their chance to hit the mean streets of Hong Kong with the addition of the game to the constantly updated “instant games collection”. Also included in the February PS+ EU update are Quantum Conundrum for the PS3, as well as Wipe Out 2048 and Lumines Electronic Symphony for the PlayStation Vita.
