DmC: Devil May Cry | Review

Posted on March 7, 2013 by Jason Fayta

Version tested: PlayStation 3 Devil May Cry returns as DmC, a new vision for the series by developer Ninja Theory, who are responsible for Heavenly Sword and Enslaved, two games that lean more on adventure than action. With that statement alone, Devil May Cry fans have expressed their displeasure, to put it mildly, with the shift in direction, and in some cases, have written the game off entirely. But, a new vision doesn’t necessarily translate as a wasted effort, and DmC is no slouch when it comes to delivering stylish action.

New Deadpool Trailer Comes In Guns Blazing

Posted on March 6, 2013 by Joshua Rust

For those of you who don’t follow Marvel Comics and don’t have a clue as to who Deadpool is…well first off, shame on you. But more importantly, Deadpool (a.k.a. Merc With A Mouth) is a highly trained (unstable) assassin/mercenary who’s banter is comparable to a X-Rated Spider-Man. Really there’s not enough time in the day to tell all the ways that Deadpool is awesome, so if you’re interested in learning more about him check is wiki page. High Moon Studios is teaming up with Activision and Marvel Comics to bring a you a video game based off one of the biggest

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate | Review

Posted on March 5, 2013 by Les Major

The most important thing to get out of the way is this game is a side-scroller based on the console Castlevania: Lords of Shadow game. This isn’t your usual Metroidvania, and while it has somewhat familiar mapping, it’s more linear. There are a million ways you can compare this title to Metroidvania titles (such as Symphony of the Night) however this game just isn’t one of them. So lets look at what Mirror of Fate is.

Skyrim Gets Even More “Legendary”

Posted on March 4, 2013 by Joshua Rust

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the best looking games you will find on a console. Probably one of the most massive worlds you will ever roam as well. It’s great to see a game, especially of this size, still getting the support it needs and deserves from Bethesda for the players who are still roaming the land in pursuit of legend, fame, and an arrow in the knee. So, if you’ve mastered playing Skyrim on the hard difficulty get ready because when the new update launches (sometime soon) it will add a “Legendary” difficulty. In addition to

Posted on March 4, 2013 by Joshua Rust

If you’re like me and grew up during the late 80’s – early 90’s as a kid, you’ll probably remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. By far one of my favorite cartoons ever. So with that being said, Red Fly Studios and Activision have teamed up to bring you a whole new TMNT game which will be available across PSN, XBLA, & Steam. Game Party Champions | Review

Posted on March 4, 2013 by Les Major

If you’re looking for a collection of mini games that use various features of the Wii U GamePad, Game Party Champions (hereafter GPC) is an interesting mix. You’re given a set of eight games and currently the game is selling for as low as $30 or less. That isn’t bad, all things considered. When the game first came out, I found it a little hard to recommend at its full price point, but as closer to a budget title, there is fun to be found in GPC for the Wii U.
