Fast & Furious: Showdown Coming To Wii U, Xbox 360, & PS3

If an EBGames listing is any indication, it appears there may be a Fast & Furious game coming soon titled: Fast & Furious: Showdown. For further proof can be seen from the Australian Classifications Board in a recent listing which states the game is being developed by Firebrand Games and published by Activision. For those unfamiliar with Firebrand games, they have most recently released NASCAR: Unleashed.

Bioshock: Infinite Reveals A “False Shepard”

This last month has been nothing short of amazing for the gamers out there. This trend is looking to continue until at least April with Star Trek and Dead Island: Riptide launching. But, the one gem that you’re definitely need to keep your eyes on is Bioshock: Infinite. With less than two weeks until the launch of Infinite, Irrational Games is keeping the hype up with a new trailer which shows off just how impressive looking this game really is. We can only hope that the story is every bit as intriguing as the original Bioshock game.

New Pikachu 3DS XL Launches March 24th

Nintendo officially announced today that there will be another member to the 3DS XL family in two weeks. Pokémon fans will get a jolt of excitement when Nintendo releases the Pikachu Edition Nintendo 3DS XL on March 24th. The bold yellow Nintendo 3DS XL hardware features the familiar outline of the iconic Pokémon. The system will also come packaged with a 4GB SD memory card and will be available for a limited time (while supplies last). The system will retail for $199.99. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity launches the same day as the Pikachu Edition Nintendo 3DS XL.

March 14th Nintendo Download

Quite a few things released today, including full game downloads for the Wii U and 3DS, plus some virtual console titles and even two DSiWare games! Right off the bat we’re just a few days away from the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which will be available day and date in both retail stores and through the eShop. Fire Emblem Gets More Content this Spring

Nintendo has just announced that Fire Emblem: Awakening, which was released on February 4th for the Nintendo 3DS, is getting more bonus content. The new SpotPass content is different from the previously released downloadable content through the game’s Outrealm Gate. This free SpotPass map, which will be available on March 14th, is called “A Hard Miracle,” and follows the story of Fire Emblem Awakening main character Chrom as he encounters a mysterious woman and sets off on a journey with her to rescue a group of kidnapped villagers. During the next few weeks, more maps will become available through SpotPass.

The VoxelFarm Engine Is Looking Beautiful

Miguel Cepero is creating a voxel based engine, however it definitely looks more like an open world adventure like an Elder Scrolls title rather than your usual voxel adventure. Payday 2 Announced By 505 Games

505 Games and Overkill Software have announced that a sequel to Payday: The Heist is on the way in form of Payday 2.  CVG got a chance to preview the game and had this to say about it: “Payday 2 provides a unique spin on co-op first-person shooting, and we love the idea of becoming a career criminal with friends, working our way up from lowly convenience store stick-ups to mass-scale bank robberies. “The first game was excellent, but with the guiding hand of Chronicles of Riddick developers Starbreeze, which recently purchased Overkill, this sequel could be even better.”

Capcom’s upcoming sequel Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is quickly approaching so we thought we’d group together some of the details of the game to whet your appetite a bit.
