Black Adam Officially Announced As A Playable Fighter

Posted on March 20, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Last article I had wrote about the many different ways that Black Adam has been outed as a potential fighter. Toys, magazine references as well as showcased on the character select screen for the game. Today the official Injustice: Gods Among Us facebook page confirmed his inclusion as a playable fighter for the game. So far there’s no reference to how he’ll play except in one screenshot he is shooting lightning from his hands. He might potentially play like Shazam with minor tweaks here and there. Until we get more info, enjoy the screenshots of Black Adam below.

Lord British Says “Most Game Designers Just Suck.”

Posted on March 20, 2013 by Eric Bastelak

In an interesting interview with PC Gamer, the original king of RPGs Richard Garriot  (A.K.A Lord British) described his views on the majority of game designers. It’s seems Lord British thinks they suck. “…other than a few exceptions, like Chris Roberts, I’ve met virtually no one in our industry who I think is close to as good a game designer as I am. I’m not saying that because I think I’m so brilliant. What I’m saying is, I think most game designers really just suck, and I think there’s a reason why.” “… we’re leaning on a lot of designers

The Wii U title that everyone has been waiting for is finally available! Gamers take on the role of undercover detective Chase McCain as he pursues criminal mastermind Rex Fury. Combining the stud collecting adventure of previous LEGO titles and the open world concept we’ve seen developing and improving through games like LEGO Lord of the Rings. Developed by Traveller’s Tales for Nintendo, LEGO City Undercover swaps multiple characters for outfits Chase can disguise himself with to gain access to new areas with their unique abilities. The game has focused areas like previous LEGO titles in which the missions take

Metro: Last Light Offers Salvation

Posted on March 19, 2013 by Joshua Rust

I can’t stress enough how highly underrated Metro 2033 was – probably due to lack of top tier marketing and an overabundance of high profile shooters that made it pale in comparison to some. Well, it only scored a 77/100 on Metacritic, but it’s by far one of my top new IP’s of this generation of consoles (behind Borderlands lol). The sequel, titled Metro: Last Light, which was recently acquired by Deep Silver after THQ’s downfall is set to release May 14th, 2013. Thankfully it looks like Deep Silver is fully behind this game as they are starting to hype

Survive On An Alien Moon In XenoMiner

Posted on March 17, 2013 by Les Major

XenoMiner is a voxel based game similar to Minecraft that I’ve been playing recently. I figured I’d continue my voxel news from my last article on the VoxelFarm engine with this article about a game I’ve grown quite fond of. Naturally it’s easy to get caught up in any voxel adventure. One creative idea leads to either collecting resources, or using an infinite resource mode to place blocks to make something. Unlike the usual biomes or areas you’re used to in voxel games, XenoMiner crashes you on an alien moon with no oxygen in the atmosphere.

Injustice: Gods Among Us New Character Reveals

Posted on March 15, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

This week, Ed Boon revealed two more characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us: Raven and Doomsday. Doomsday of course, whether or not you read comics is famous as being the man who killed Superman during the Death of Superman storyline. Raven on the other hand isn’t known to many who don’t follow comics unless they watched the Teen Titans cartoon which she is a member of the team.

Injustice Battle Arena Quarter Final Match Results

Posted on March 15, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

As the battle arena tournament reaches the next level, voting on some of these characters are becoming harder for most die hard DC comic fans. Fans got to vote the outcome of the four quarter final matches between Batman vs Wonder Woman, Flash vs the Joker, Aquaman vs Green Lantern and Superman vs Green Arrow. I won’t spoil who wins each but there is a surprise outcome many probably didn’t expect. Some interesting things can be found in the video like what seems to be Themyscira and a new intro for Superman when using his alternate attire. All four videos
