BlizzPlanet’s Tides of War Interview With Christie Golden

Posted on April 9, 2013 by Les Major

April 30th will see the paperback release of Christie Golden’s World of Warcraft: Tides of War novel so to celebrate I wanted to share this interview I came across on YouTube tonight. I’ve been reading and enjoying the hardcover release myself and will have a review coming down the road. Being a fan of Christie Golden’s writing for quite a number of years now it’s refreshing to hear an interview like this. If nothing else give the first eight minutes a listen before it gets into the in depth spoiler content. On a related side note, Starcraft II: Flashpoint also

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers Coming To 3DS

Posted on April 9, 2013 by Les Major

In just a week Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers will be released on the 3DS. Don’t let it’s history put you off but Soul Hackers was originally released for the Sega Saturn way back in 1997 and then later slightly revamped in 1999 for the Playstation. It is a sequel to Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner but Soul Hackers may be being released first for the 3DS due to it’s lower difficulty compared to previous titles in the series. The game itself is unreleased in North America, so Soul Hackers is new to our shores. From the trailer

Tried The Injustice: Gods Among Us Demo Yet?

Posted on April 9, 2013 by Les Major

Last week a demo was released for PS3 and Xbox Gold Members for NetherRealm’s latest fighter, Injustice. Allowing gamers to not only give the fighting system a whirl to see how it differs from Mortal Kombat, but also to play as either Wonder Woman, Batman, or Lex Luthor, in a four tier fight leading to Doomsday. The demo itself only focuses on the Gotham rooftop arena which leads down into the streets too if you power slam your opponent off the far right of the building. This is a wonderful taste, but don’t forget about the cinematic storyline and S.T.A.R.

Dead Space 3’s Awakened DLC Is A Great Addition

Posted on April 9, 2013 by Les Major

It took approximately three and a half to four hours for Ghostwalker and I to clear the new Dead Space 3 DLC and we enjoyed the journey! That’s on par with the main campaign considering we got about an hours worth of entertainment out of DS3 for every $3 and change we’d spent on the retail copy. Three and a half hours for $10 is a fair deal in comparison. Want more details? There’s spoilers to come, so be wary!

A Hopeful Look Toward The Future Of Doom 4

Posted on April 8, 2013 by Les Major

After a recent article on Kotaku that makes for good reading, I wanted to throw in my two cents about the mentioned concepts of Doom 4. As many of you by now know, Doom 3 was moreso a retelling of the story of Doom 4. Kotaku’s article mentions that Doom 4 was originally going to be a retelling of Doom 2. Right away that sounds like fantastic news, but it went further than that. As in the second Doom game, this concept would have taken place on Earth. That and it seems the struggle of humans in this new world

Raven’s Cry Hitting Stores In October For PC/Xbox 360

Posted on April 8, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Let’s face it the Pirates of the Caribbean game did not satisfy anyone’s appetite for swashbuckling, plundering booty (yeah…not that booty), and blowing up ships while sailing the Seven Seas. Raven’s Cry tells the story of Christopher Raven who is out for vengeance against the people who murdered his family. Developed by Octane Games and published by TopWare Interactive, Raven’s Cry is looking to hit retail stores October 24th, 2013. It’s about time we finally get a decent looking pirate game…well, with the exception of another good looking pirate game.

Newest Pokemon From X & Y Looks An Awful Lot Like Mewtwo

Posted on April 7, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Over the weekend Nintendo unveiled a brand new pokemon for the upcoming Pokemon X & Y, during their weekly “Pokemon Smash” T.V series. This little fella looks an awfully lot like fan favorite Mewtwo, whom of course was one of the last legendary from the original set of 151 Pokemon Unfortunately this newly unveiled monster doesn’t have a name just yet, in fact official details out side of the recently released art work and trailers are scant. This is pure speculation but I believe Nintendo could take one or two routes with this: I believe that regardless of origin, this

New Remember Me ‘Enemies’ Trailer

Posted on April 7, 2013 by Jason Nason

Capcom has released another trailer for their upcoming game Remember Me. The game is a new original property where players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. The game looks pretty intense from what I’ve seen of it and should be a great ride once it’s released. Remember Me is a 3rd person action adventure and the look and feel of the game reminds me of an old PS2 Rockstar title Oni

XSEED Games has finsihed localizing the game and the Wii-exclusive JRPG will hit store shelves on April 16. Developed in Japan by Ganbarion together with Nintendo, Pandora’s Tower takes the familiar maiden in distress theme and turns it on its head, asking the protagonist to slay over a dozen giant monsters and collect their flesh in order to lift a curse that has befallen his lover.
