Can Microsoft Save The Cheerleader & The World?

Posted on April 18, 2013 by Joshua Rust

It appears that they will try. Heroes was a fantastic show the first couple of seasons when it launched. I was as religious to it as Christians going to church on Sunday. Unfortunately due to the writers strike that occurred during the time frame when Heroes was on, it badly hurt the storyline and thus lost viewers…then cancelled. A sad day indeed, as the show had great potential. Currently in preliminary stages (in talks), it appears that Microsoft is trying to do what the writers of the show couldn’t do – that being save the cheerleader, save the world, resurrect

Bethesda, for the past few days, have released some really weird teaser clips for their next game. Announced today that the full reveal will in fact be tomorrow (April 19th, 2013), we can’t wait to see what they got up their sleeve. I know I personally am looking forward to the next Fallout game, but I’d gladly welcome any new franchise that they want to put out. The first video features a spinning record, the second features burning flowers and a mystery background person, and the latest one features a shadow creeping around… Can anyone make any sense of these

New State Of Decay Video Creeps In

Posted on April 16, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Undead Labs and Microsoft Studios have at least narrowed down the month for which the upcoming zombie survival game State Of Decay will release. June. I’m not sure if they are pushing for this to be in the yearly held Microsoft “Summer Of Arcade”, but it could be quite possible. To go along with the tentative release date, Undead Labs has also released a new video for State Of Decay…

2013 Canadian Video Game Awards This Saturday

Posted on April 15, 2013 by Jason Nason

The 4th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards will be taking place on Saturday in Vancouver, British Columbia, presented as part of Vancouver Fan Expo. The CVAs were created to honour and celebrate the “best and brightest” in Canadian videogame and feature games from big mainstream titles to smaller indie projects. If you haven’t heard of the awards don’t worry, you’re not alone. While the annual VGAs which air on Spike every year are fairly well known (if mostly panned by video game fans) the Canadian awards aren’t as well known for one main reason – they aren’t televised. To get a

SEGA Reveals Disney’s Castle of Illusion

Posted on April 15, 2013 by Jason Nason

SEGA revealed a new teaser trailer for Disney’s Castle of Illusion, starring Mickey Mouse, today. The teaser is an expanded look at an uber teaser they released last week. And while the game looks like it could be something to see, the most notable thing that I can see is the omission of Nintendo platforms for the game’s release. The original Castle of Illusion was a a platformer game developed by Sega and released for the Sega Genesis and Sega Master System way back in 1990. That was followed up with a release on Sega’s portable Game Gear system in
