Next Xbox Reveal Due May 21st, 2013

Posted on April 24, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Rumors and anticipation of Microsoft’s next home console will wither to a halt on May 21st. This was confirmed today by Microsoft stating ‘A New Generation Revealed’ on Tuesday, May 21st at 1pm ET/10am PT/6pm GMT. The conference will stream on  Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE and on Spike TV for people in US and Canada. I’m extremely excited, eager, and not so much concerned as I am intrigued to see what Microsoft has been cooking up for us. I like how they decided to not play games with Sony (who as you know took initiative to reveal first…without showing off the actual

Call of Duty: Ghosts Spotted In Multiple Retail Advertisements

Posted on April 24, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Call of Duty Ghosts seemed to vanish from the rumor mill for the last few weeks, but all of that has changed with multiple retailers mentioning the game in new advertisements. Both the U.S based Target and U.K based Tesmo featured the game predominately in their latest fliers. We’ve learned that the game could be released on November 5th with a suggested retail price of $59.99. Supposedly Call of Duty Ghosts will take place in a near future society that is forced to use modern weapons due to some kind of catastrophe. Apparently the game may also make modifications to

In addition to Lobo, three additional characters are planned, and the internet is full of speculation as to which characters will be revealed. The staff here at Broken Joysticks has cast their votes, and here are our top picks.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge | Review

Posted on April 22, 2013 by Jason Fayta

Version tested: PlayStation 3 Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge (hereafter Razor’s Edge), the once exclusive Wii U title, arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 shortly after its release on Nintendo’s console, and perhaps, much to the chagrin of Ninja Gaiden 3 owners. It’s one thing to have to read about the debacle that was Ninja Gaiden 3, but for gamers who purchased the title at launch, the mere existence of Razor’s Edge may have soured any attempt for Team Ninja to redeem themselves.

Lego City Undercover | Review

Posted on April 21, 2013 by Les Major

Lego City Undercover is two things, and does both very well. It is an all new Lego adventure in the theme and concept of your favourite titles to date, improving on that design. The game is also possibly the first youth friendly Grand Theft Auto inspired title. It really ends up feeling like you’re getting two games in one with all this content. It took me over 24 hours to get through the story, and I still have side objectives around the city to complete. Undercover focuses on Chase McCain, a police officer just returning to Lego City after years away.

Whereas in the origianal Wii title you were given two hearts for Donkey and Diddy Kong, you will have three hearts each in the 3DS title to allow you to take more hits. Another new addition to the game is the addition
