GTA V – Physics or Scripted Event?

Posted on July 9, 2013 by Les Major

The Grand Theft Auto V gameplay video released today is packed with tons of little things to explore and consider about what possibly could be in the game. One of the scenes stood out to me the most was this physics moment in the image above. Is this actually how real heavy vehicles will respond to some obstacles in game, or just a scripted event in a cut scene? We don’t know yet. However, any kind of destruction of walls like this in a GTA game is quite an exciting possibility. Things usually tend to be quite solid and this

Grab Some Popcorn, It’s Grand Theft Auto V Gameplay Time!

Posted on July 9, 2013 by Les Major

Rockstar Games released a gameplay video for Grand Theft Auto V today which as usual is filled with hints at unmentioned content, lots of features being explained and displayed, plus a look at just how beautiful that new game world looks in motion. It’s quite interesting, since I think this is the first time we’ve really seen a video like this from Rockstar. Usually there’s lots of trailers we all go crazy for, and then the game is released. There’s just so much in this sequel, it’s good and important to see them taking the game to go over it

Time and Eternity Animation Looks Beautiful!

Posted on July 3, 2013 by Les Major

Coming on July 16th, the latest NIS America import by Namco Bandai and Imageepoch features some beautiful animation for 2D characters. The battle scenes, featured in the video after the break, really show just how smooth the flow is. Imageepoch, who made Black ★ Rock Shooter PSP Game, are also behind Time and Eternity. Both games have over the shoulder style combat, so it should be interesting to see if T&E plays similar.

Com·mu·ni·ty: a unified body of individuals as a group of people with a common interest gaming together within a larger society <a guild> For many gamers, one of the most alluring aspects of online gaming is the opportunity to bond with other people.  Whether their interest lies in player-vs.-player fighting, roleplaying or end game raid content, being able to share those interests with other like-minded players is what keeps them engaged and interested.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Version 1.05 Patch Hits With Zod Release

Posted on July 2, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Injustice: Gods Among Us has been hitting a downward spiral as of late since the release of Scorpion as a DLC character who quickly replaced Deathstroke as that character to hate. As with Deathstroke, fans and few pros a like went to twitter and forums in order to let NetherRealm Studios know how unfair and broken Scorpion was. They listened (as who really could getting tweets by the minute) and today marks the release of version 1.05 which also comes along with the release of General Zod as the final DLC character in the season pack (free for season pass

Living Out Life In State Of Decay

Posted on June 28, 2013 by Les Major

I’ve had quite a bit of time now with State of Decay and it’s quite different from the demo once you get into the main bulk of the game. The intro can be compared almost do Dead Rising with scavenging while the main game itself is a bit more complex. For one, the most important rule here is that once a character dies, they’re gone forever. So you might not want to get too attached to your survivors. Fortunately, if you do lose everyone, a seemingly random survivor is generated for you to take over. You may be tempted to

Today is the day! The final piece of Season Pass DLC for Borderlands 2 has hit the marketplace just waiting for you to download it. If you’re feeling conflicted on whether or not to buy this (if you don’t already have the Season Pass), you can check out this developer diary and see what they have to say about it. Personally I’m stoked about it because as I’ve stated many times before, it combines two of my favorite things gaming related: Borderlands & Fantasy.
