You can’t keep a good game down, and it seems like Precursor Game’s Shadow of the Eternal is one of those projects that won’t go down without a fight. After a failed dual source funding campaign that combined KickStarter and their own crowd funding effort through the game’s official website, Shadow’s of the Eternals has been relisted on KickStarter with a much smaller target. Another virtual console release has come the way of the North American Wii U with the release of Kid Icarus. The classic Nintendo title, which spawned a 3DS sequel a few years back, was made popular once again when the titular character was made as a playable character in the Super Smash Bros series. The wait is finally over for North American Nintendo fans as Earthbound has finally been released. The game, which has never seen a release this side of the Pacific, was released on the Wii U Virtual Console. Other releases include Game Boy Colour title Shantae, which spawned a DSiWare sequal a few years ago. Time and Eternity | Review

If you’re looking for a slower paced RPG with action based combat and romantic anime overtones with occasional lightly perverted jokes, this title is for you. Time and Eternity is a game you relax to since it does take a decent amount of time to play through. Combat especially can be quite lengthy and the battlefield areas can have quite a bit of ground to cover. This review contains early on spoilers.

Club Nintendo Rewards – July 2013

The month of July has brought four new downloadable game rewards for Club Nintendo members, including Star Fox 64. The game is one of two that are available for the Nintendo Wii, the other is Super Punch Out!! Mii Plaza on 3DS Receives Update and Games

North American users of the Nintendo 3DS got a surprise on Friday morning with the update for Mii Plaza arriving on their systems. After a brief system update, followed by the update within Mii Plaza itself, the plaza has been expanded and four new games have been introduced. Each of the four games can be purchased using funds from your eShop funds. The games are now available for purchase from within the application at $4.99 apiece, or $14.99 for all four. Kotaku is calling for 1pm Eastern Time today, yes in just a few minutes really, based on a press release on the game Fortix 2.
