The newest game in the series, aptly titled NHL 14, continues on with everything that I thought was great in that game and builds upon it to make an even greater game. If you've been waiting to pick up an NHL title from EA Sports this is the one that is a must have.

Version tested: PlayStation 3 Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate (hereafter Ultimate) is an expanded edition of Dead or Alive 5, arriving just under a year from its predecessor’s release. New stages and characters, along with new modes and system tweaks, define the “ultimate” package, but the simultaneous release of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters, a free-to-play version of Ultimate, may be the version that gets newcomers into the series.

The big news is that Xbox Music has come to iOS and Android in the form of an app today, but I’m more excited for being able to use it on a PC that isn’t running Windows 8. I’ll still never give up my first love, the pay but so good service Rara.com which when I first signed up was like a buck per month to try for like the first three months then only five thereafter. It took me a bit to find out exactly where Xbox Music is located but the US site pointed me to Music.Xbox.com and

The game feels like a hybrid between a visual novel and a JRPG. Not in the sense that you’re trying to date anyone, but more so the fact that there is just so much character interaction involved in the game; you do feel like you’re watching a visual novel, rather than playing a typical JRPG.

Much of this could be considered to be spoilers if you’re looking to learn about all this content in game. However, if you are holding out till the October 12th release date, you’ve probably run screaming from any website proclaiming news of Mega Evolutions so far anyway. Speculation of a MewThree Pokémon ran rampant earlier this year and recently was revealed to be a new concept in the game series. It seems when a Pokémon reaches level 100 now they can Mega Evolve in battle into a new form. That’s not all though, these evolutions only take place in battle
