Yesterday the publisher released a brand new trailer showcasing a reworked lighting engine, based upon Techland’s Chrome Engine 6 this brief trailer shows off some really realistic lighting conditions in a highly detailed city-scape. Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Delayed

Square Enix has decided to delay the upcoming re-mastered versions of Final Fantasy X & Final Fantasy X-2 the publisher announced this morning. Instead of launching on the PlayStation 3 this November the collection has been moved to March 21st 2014 for the PlayStation 3 in North America. No news on the release date of the upcoming Vita version of the Final Fantasy X HD re-masters, but Square Enix issued a small statement to Joystiq where they will clear things up at a ‘future date’. PlayStation 4 Launches With One Million Consoles Sold

Did you pick up a PlayStation 4 this past Friday? Well it seems that a million gamers brought home a new console, as Sony has announced that one million consoles where placed in the hands of gamers within the first 24 hours. New Cartoons Breathe Fresh Life into Nintendo Video

Well Nintendo released the first few episodes of The Legend of Zelda: The Misadventures of Link over the last weeks on Nintendo Video. The videos are short as expected, topping up at just over a minute. Nintendo 3DS Sales Continue Strong in October

Nintendo announced on Thursday that the Nintendo 3DS is once again the best-selling video game hardware system in North America. The handheld sold more than 452,000 units sold in October and sold double that of September. Software sales were strong for Nintendo as well with Pokémon X and Pokémon Y as the number 1 and number 2 top-selling titles last month. 3DS Updates Coming, including Miiverse

Nintendo will be updating the 3DS next month which will see a few new features added to the handheld. One thing that many users have been clamouring for is the combination of eShop balances between the 3DS and Wii U. Bravely Default Lands in North America on February 7th

Bravely Default, the Square Enix produced RPG is finally hitting North American shores early next year and the title will be published by Nintendo. That we already knew, but now we have a date. The game will launch on February 7th. Not only that but the game will come with a special collector’s edition set which will include an art book, a music CD (the music is amazing by the way) and also a set of 36 AR cards for the 3DS.
