Atelier Escha & Logy Now On Store Shelves

Tecmo Koei’s long running Atelier series gets another release stateside with the announcement that Atelier Escha & Logy has shipped to retailers for the PlayStation 3. This latest iteration offers more than just the usual Atelier trimmings we’ve come to expect – aside from gorgeous graphics and adorable characters – Escga & Logy also bring with them the new imbue system. This system allows players to customize their weapons and armour by amending a wide variety of properties. Tweaks to the series staple synthesis system mean that as players progress they will unlock the ability to craft more complex potions/items

NIS America Prepares Toradora for a July Release

  Toradora!, the fan favourite anime centered around Ryuji Takasu’s struggle with both his reputation as a delinquent and his infatuation with Minorin, one of the only girls who won’t flee from him is coming to North America. South Park: The Stick of Truth | Review

South Park is an incredibly accurate gaming experience. The style is exactly like the show and it flows so well between cut scenes and regular gameplay. Exploration in the open world of South Park makes the game just a joy to experience. Next Gen Vs Current Gen: Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes

  Want to take a look at how Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes compares between console generations? Well, wonder no longer because Konami has released a two minute comparison video that shows us the differences between the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Alongside this visual comparison, Konami also revealed the resolutions and frame rates for each version. Irrational Games Closing, Ken Levine To Focus On Digital Games

In a surprise move that sent shockwaves throughout the gaming community earlier this week, Irrational Games founder Ken Lavine has announced that the studio will be downsizing from its current format as an AAA studio to one with just fifteen members. Considering the critical and financial success both the original Bioshock and last year’s Bioshock Infinite have enjoyed this move might seem out of left field, but Mr.Lavine has attempted to explain the rationale behind this decision in a rather lengthy blog post. Canadian Videogame Awards moved to November

Reboot Communications and EP Media have announced that the 5th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards (CVAs) will move to November 21, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario. The national award show celebrates excellence in Canadian-made videogames and has been held in Vancouver for the past four years.   This date change will facilitate the proper amount of production and promotional attention for the CVAs and provide our country’s game-making community an annual end of the year celebration.

New Features Trailer for FF X/X2

SQUARE ENIX today released the New Features trailer for FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster. The game features completely remastered visuals, updated music, and new content. FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster will available on March 18 as a single disc bundle available on the PlayStation 3. The collector’s edition for the PlayStation 3 system will be sold exclusively at the Square Enix Online Store for $79.99.

Club Nintendo Rewards – February 2014

The month of February brings four new downloadable game rewards for Club Nintendo members, including Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The game is one of two Virtual Console titles that are available for the Nintendo Wii/Wii U, the other is classic Nintendo title Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream. The two other games for the Nintendo 3DS include Virtual Console title Donkey Kong Jr. and DSiWare title Art Style: PiCTOBiTS. All four titles are available until March 9th, 2014.
