Worms WMD | Review

Posted on February 22, 2018 by Meghan Kass

Worms W.M.D, developed and published by Team 17 is a turn-based artillery tactics game released for the Nintendo Switch. While very similar to another game in the Worms series, such as Worms Armageddon, the question becomes “will this game stand out enough on its own?” and “how well would a Worms title do on the Switch?”. With a large selection of missions and a new multiplayer mode, let’s take a deeper look at this game and see if it is truly explosive as its marketing made it out to be. While I was never the biggest fan of the series,

Biomutant Trailer Shows Off Combat, Traversing the World, and a Mech?

Posted on February 19, 2018 by Joshua Rust

Developer Experiment 101 looks like they may have a winner on their hands. If they can deliver on everything they are promising: a one-of-a-kind hero with  a plethora of different gaming mechanics. In this new video, they show off some of these things such as using the crossbow to traverse the land, a glider, there’s even a mech!  This is probably one of my most anticipated titles of 2018. It looks a bit Fable-ish and Zelda-ish, but with a whole new, different kind of hero. Can Experiment 101 deliver us a new classic, it’s quite possible. See the video below

Radiant Historia – Perfect Chronology | REVIEW

Posted on February 13, 2018 by Jason Nason

The branching timelines in Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology makes the game feel like a choose-your-own adventure game, but while you’ll jump back and forth between the timelines the game doesn’t get too confusing. It’s actually a rather interesting mechanic that doesn’t feel like a gimmick and is central to the story and your progression through the game. The expanded 3DS port of the original Radiant Historia, released six years ago for the Nintendo DS, contains a great deal of added gameplay/story content, updated presentation, and new ways to experience the adventure. On the continent of Vainqueur about a century ago, a mysterious
