Xenoblade Chronicles X Special Edition Launches on December 4th

Launching alongside the standalone version the upcoming Wii U role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles X on December 4th is a Special Edition overflowing with content. The special edition, which will retail for $89.99 contains the game, a book of concept art, a USB drive modeled after the gameès Lifehold Unit pre-loaded with 10 music tracks from the soundtrack, and a limited-edition matted 5×7 art card of a painting done for the game by illustrator Takashi Kojo The Xenoblade Chronicles X speical edition is unique to North America and is already available for pre-order.

Two New Nintendo 3DS Systems Coming this Fall

Nintendo announced two special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL systems to be released this fall, one of which will be a Gamestop exclusive. The announcement came at the GameStop Managers Conference in Las Vegas. The first is an Animal Crossing themed bundle, which will launch in the U.S. on September 25th. The bundle includes the new hand-held system, the upcoming Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer game, two cover plates and one amiibo card, and will retail for $219.99.

Bowser, Toad, and Yoshi Wii Remotes Coming

Nintendo is set to debut of three new Wii Remote Plus controllers inspired by classic Mushroom Kingdom characters Bowser, Toad and Yoshi. Joining previously released Wii Remote Plus controllers themed after Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, three new controllers inspired by Bowser, Toad and Yoshi will launch exclusively at GameStop. Retailing for $39.99 each, the Bowser and Toad controllers will launch alongside the Super Mario Maker game for the Wii U console on the 11th of September. Preview: Killing Floor 2’s “Incinerate N’ Detonate” Update

With the release of the Incinerate N’ Detonate update for Killing Floor 2 Tripwire Interactive has opened up their early access First Person Shooter to everyone with a steam account. You can now download the full version of the game and play as much of it as you like offline or with six friends via online matchmaking for hours of Zombie slaying entertainment until 1PM PST Sunday September 6th. Mad Max Road Rages Onto PS4 / Xbox One / Windows PC

PlayStation 4 COD: Black Ops III Beta Sets Record

Activision announced today that the PS4 beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III that ran from August 19th thru the 23rd enlisted millions of gamers to help stress test Treyarch’s latest FPS.  Black Ops III has set the record for the highest number of players playing a beta on the PlayStation Network according to a press release issued by Activison. Smaller New Nintendo 3DS Coming To North America!

Guild Wars 2 Goes Free To Play

ArenaNet’s 2012 MMORPG Guild Wars 2 has an expansion incoming and at their PAX Prime panel this weekend the developer announced that previously “pay once play forever” base game is free-to-play starting this weekend.
