The Steam Controller is here

The steam  controller is finally shipping out to those who ordered in the first wave.  I received mine in the mail today. Check out the gallery below for the un-boxing goodness and look for a first impressions very soon! The controller feel really nice in the hands, its has an odd downward sloping angle I have never encountered in a controller before. Its nothing like an Xbox or PlayStation controller.  It feels very light and it seems as though the 4 face buttons (A, B, X, Y) are in a place that will be difficult to reach when it gets intense.

Pre-Orders Open for Samsung’s $100 VR Headset

Samsung has just made their $100 VR Headset available for pre-order at Best Buy.  The device only works in combination with a variety of Samsung devices, the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, S6 and S6 Edge, and comes pre-loaded with a bunch of  3D movie trailers and “360° videos”. A lot of sites have been hailing this as the device that’d make VR go mainstream but I’m….skeptical. Nintendo Direct to be on November 12

A new Nintendo Direct is going to be held on the 12th at 2 PM PST, only two days from now. The link is already up and can be found here. Nintendo is still very much Nintendo and hasn’t really told us what is going to be included in the conference, but I think it’s safe to assume it will largely focus on the company’s holiday line-up.  Most notably, this line-up includes Xenoblade Chronicles X, the follow-up to a game I didn’t play because I do not own a Nintendo console. Bob Ross to Become a Permanent Part of Twitch.TV

After bringing in 5.6 million unique viewers, with a peak viewer count of over 183.000 watching at the same time, it is fair to say the experiment of putting up Bob Ross on Twitch was a resounding success. Dontnod Co-Founder Would Love To Work On a Sequel To Life Is Strange

Star Citizen 2.0 Alpha User Interface Video Blasts-Off

World of Warcraft: Legion – Game Systems Panel

Article By: Tamsin Skye Heineman Blizzard revealed some bombshell news today for World of Warcraft: Legion during their panel at Blizzcon. Changes include items, classes, professions, and a full cosmetic unlock system. They’re even adding an option to hide your shoulder slot item. Arrowhead Game Studios Announces HELLDIVERS For PC

Arrowhead game studious has announced that their twin stick shooter Helldivers will be relased for PC via Steam in December.  The game which features fast paced twin stick shooting action set in a future earth environment was previous confined to consoles.
