Questions Arise About The Legitimacy of Green Man Gaming Battlefront Keys

Posted on November 16, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

Popular game deals sub-reddit /r/GameDeals has banned the posting of deals from well known discount PC games retailer Green Man Gaming after some users have question the legitimacy of some of the keys available through the website. Earlier today GMG sent out a blast email to all of those who recently pre-ordered EA’s upcoming shooter Star Wars Battlefront stating that GMG may not be able to fulfil all orders in time for the game’s release tomorrow. This has lead some to wonder if GMG is receiving their keys not from EA directly but from 3rd party retailers.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void Review

Posted on November 16, 2015 by Chelsea Richards

StarCraft’s Legacy Left No Void. After seventeen and a half years, StarCraft has certainly been with some of us for a long time. A good chunk of us may have enjoyed passing around a single copy and “Spawning” others on a LAN to play multiplayer with in our early gaming years. Heck, even from a gameplay standpoint its expansion “Brood War” is a shining pinnacle of the genre as a whole, loved and embraced by many. Unlike certain other Blizzard Entertainment launches, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void’s launch went off without a hitch, at least in North America, after

Gravity Rush Remastered Is Getting a Physical Release For PS4

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

Game developer James Mielke has announced through twitter that Gravity Rush Remastered will be getting a retail release in North America. It will launch on February 9th 2016 and will include all DLC previously made for the game. The remaster was originally only getting a digital release in North America. Physical releases were already planned for Japan and Europe. Box art sure is pretty enough to warrant having it on my shelf. I’m not much of a physical collector myself, but for those that prefer boxed I’m sure the choice is welcome.

Clannad is coming to Steam on November 23

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

Publisher Sekai Project has announced a translation of the famous visual novel Clannad will be coming to steam on November 23. The release is the end result of a succesful kickstarter campaign which managed to scrape in well over half a million dollars. In addition to an English translation, this version will have improved visuals and achievement integration. What might surprise many is that this is actually the first official English release of Clannad, despite having a huge following in the west. This is because all the English versions of the visual novel currently circulating are fan-translations, as is the

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey Announced as UFC 2 Cover Model

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

In case you haven’t heard of Ronda Rousey for some reason, I’ll give you a little bit of a catch up as to who she is: she’s currently undefeated in the UFC and carries the Bantamweight Women’s Championship. She is extremely cocky but she backs every word she says up with knowledge and confidence. She gained a lot of support in the geek community for stating her love for things such as Pokémon, World of Warcraft, and Dragonball Z – while it’s cool she’s into those things, that’s pretty entry level stuff – and her otherwise attractiveness, likability, and trash talk have gained

En taro tassadar fellow Starcraft II Commanders! We’ll see you in the Koprulu Sector, Commanders! pic.twitter.com/mqye4JEOdp — StarCraft (@StarCraft) November 13, 2015 Not only does Legacy of the Void

Tomb Raider vs. Fallout: Under Pressure

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

Lara Croft and her Tomb Raider games have always been under some degree of scrutiny: whether it was what got her attention in the first place, the quality of her games, or the fact that, to this day, her releases have almost always been up against some stiff competition. From the time her character was conceived, she has always faced some kind of adversity in the mainstream spotlight. With the latest release in the franchise, she has to rise up to, perhaps, her greatest challenge yet: being released in very close proximity to the hype train arrival that is the release of Fallout

The Division To Allow Some Realtime Swapping

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

The Division
In a pretty awesome Q&A video with the developers of The Division, some pretty neat details about the game are revealed: first and foremost, the ability to hotswap abilities and gun customizations while in the open world and in combat situations. It’s said that you can have two active abilities at any one time, however, you can swap those abilities out for any of the abilities you’ve earned to that point and the same goes for the appearance and utility of your weapons. It is insinuated, though, that you have to do so through the menu interface so while you’re able to

Mechwarrior online is coming to steam.

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

We haven’t had a good Mechwarrior game in a very long while. The current form of the much beloved 90s game franchise where you take control of a giant mech and shoot at other mechs in the sci-fi universe of Battle Tech, exists only in a multiplayer online only, free-to-play format.  Mechwarrior online is that Mechwarror game that people love to hate, its full of micro transactions, caters heavily to harder core players, and has a small but dedicated community of players who keep it running. So its a surprise when this week the games developer Piranha Games have announced that

Kenny’s Fallout 4 Log – Day 3

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

How Seth Got His Groove Back November 13th on PlayStation 4 Yeah, so, my character’s name is Seth: there’s a bit of a story behind that name and there’s about four I try to inject into just about every self-injection game lead I can but that’s a different story for a different time. I’ll tell you now, memory has not served me well and it did not do my skills with the game justice as I was expecting things to kind of go a certain way and they most certainly don’t.
