First Five Minutes Of Bioshock: Infinite

Posted on December 19, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Irrational Games has released the first five minutes of their upcoming Bioshock: Infinite game. So before you scroll down to watch it, you have been warned that this will (obviously) spoil the first part of the game. I, personally, love the Bioshock franchise and I can’t wait to get my hands on this game! This one looks so much better than Bioshock 2. If only Irrational Games can craft the type of storyline that the first game had…then this will be a masterpiece! [youtube id=”60zmVrtIBzw” width=”600″ height=”350″] For those of you unaware, this game was pushed back by a month to

New Fuse Trailer Goes Into Story Mode

Posted on December 19, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Fuse, which was previously called Overstrike, is Insomniac Games first stab at bringing a game to the Xbox 360 console. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, well it should – they are responsible for the ever popular Resistance series on the Playstation 3. I’m excited to see Insomniac go multiplatform and bring their talent to everyone on all different gaming systems. So, Fuse was announced back in June 2011 and there really hasn’t been a lot of details beside the information on the characters and the official trailer. So today Insomniac Games has released a story trailer to give a bit

New Assassin’s Creed III Patch Is Live

Posted on December 18, 2012 by Joshua Rust

I won’t lie, Assassin’s Creed III is amazing and buggy. Those two words don’t normally mesh and in order to take the buggy part out of the equation, Ubisoft has released a patch that fixes a bunch of stuff today! Single Player Global Fixes – Couriers will now appear more often in Boston and New York – Fixed a bug where consumables would not be restored properly after playing a naval mission – Fixed a bug where multiple copies of heralds or paper boys could be spawned at the same spot – Fixed a bug where printer shops icons could

Square Enix Releases A “Guide To Survival” For Tomb Raider

Posted on December 17, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Today Square Enix has released part one of a new series that shows off some of the choices young Lara has to face throughout her journey in the upcoming Tomb Raider game. Here is what Square Enix has to say about Lara: “Though she doesn’t begin as a fully accomplished heroine she’s smart, resourceful and full of potential: you’ll see Lara using the Basecamp System to upgrade her skills and gear, see how she uses her Survival Instinct to explore on the island, and get an insight into her signature weapon, the bow.” [youtube id=”dfz8S5Y_vZU” width=”600″ height=”350″] Tomb Raider will release

As of today, THQ has announced that all pre-orders will automatically be upgraded to the Limited Edition of Metro: The Last Light. What does this limited edition include you may ask? Well, it will include a harder difficulty mode known as “Ranger Mode”. For those familiar with the first game, Ranger Mode is insanely hard – one hit by a bullet will kill you. Not only that, you don’t have

Earth Defense Force 2025 Is Due Out Next Year

Posted on December 13, 2012 by Joshua Rust

A few months ago we brought you the trailer for Earth Defense Force 4. Since that time the title of the game has changed to Earth Defense Force 2025 and it will be released at an unspecified date next year. 4 player co-op will be implemented with this iteration of EDF, which is something I really wanted to see with Insect Armageddon. The developers, Sandlot, have also promised tons of new missions and the crazy over-the-top action you’ve come to know and love from this franchise. Earth Defense Force 2025 will feature new giant insects, such as the Retiarius spider

“Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt” Is The Next Borderlands 2 DLC?

Posted on December 13, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Tech savy users (and Playstation 3 users) have uncovered what appears to be the next DLC for Borderlands 2 titled: Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt. Users over at the Gearbox Forums have spotted details that were released in today’s patch. Not to mention that the trophies have shown up as well on the Playstation 3 trophies. The three achievements/trophies are: Completed the mission “The Fall of Nakayama”, Completed all Hammerlock’s Hunt side missions, & Discovered all named locations in Hammerlock’s Hunt. So I think it’s safe to assume that there will be even more raid bosses as the first two DLC’s

(Image courtesy of Uproxx) Ok, we’re officially to the end of our Skyrim giveaway contest.  MAJOR thanks go out to Bethesda for not only providing the copies of Skyrim and Dragonborn DLC, but for also giving us a shout-out on the official Elder Scrolls Twitter account.  While our site quickly tapped out under the huge and sudden influx of visitors hoping to score the game, we got the word out via our Facebook page as well as our Twitter page. We had an influx of tweets all asking for either the full version on PC, or the DLC for the

Metro: The Last Light “Genesis” Trailer Comes Into The Light

Posted on December 12, 2012 by Joshua Rust

If you haven’t played Metro 2033 from 4A Games you are missing out on one of the greatest hidden gems on the Xbox 360 console. While it averaged a favorable reception from critics (earning a 77/100 on Metacritic across 83 reviewers), I still believe it’s one of the best un-established games that has come out in this generation of consoles. For those that haven’t played it, THQ is offering up a free steam code by “liking” their Facebook page – but the quantities are limited so hurry! So apparently it did so well that it justified a sequel and rightly so!

Posted on December 12, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Update 12/13/12: This is why we state it was a “mystery source” as now the Gamer Syndrome article that was posted was pulled today with the site stating:  “This interview has been removed. The information provided previously by the author of this post was deemed to be obtained from an inaccurate source and NOT an official Bioware or EA interview response. We apologize for the inconvinience.” So there we have it folks. If new information comes into the light, we will be here to share it with you. At least we do know that Mass Effect 4 is in development now.

Posted on December 11, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

N.I.S America has announced that the third entry in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory will be released in North America in March of 2013. The game, like the other two main entries in the franchise, will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3. No word on an exact release date but they did release several screenshots and a trailer to promote the game. I’m.. going to try and contain myself like the fangirl that I am and tell you that the Neptunia series is some of the cheekiest and most hilarious satire of the console wars in sometime. Sure,

Square Enix Announces Star Galaxy

Posted on December 11, 2012 by Jason Bassett

Square Enix officially announced Star Galaxy. A brand new social game that will work in-tune with your browser of choice. The entire page is mostly in Japanese and it’s was pretty hard to gauge at first read. The trailer that they provided didn’t help matters either with all the Japanese text. But, on the very bottom of the page, it says that the system of choice is Windows 7, Vista and 8. It also works with Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox. If you head over to the Twitter page, you’ll notice a lot of comments being aimed directly at Star
