Injustice Battle Arena Wk2: The Joker and Lex Luther Face off

Following up on today’s news surrounding the first results of the Injustice Battle Arena, WB has revealed that the week will feature a battle of villainous proportions. Superman’s archrival, the ever resourceful Lex Luther faces off against Batman’s longtime nemesis, the clinically insane Joker. Alongside a YouTube video, which we’ve embedded below, WB Interactive also reminds us that fan votes cast via Facebook and Twitter will determine the victor. Codemasters Gives Us a Sneak Peak at GRID 2 With New Teaser

Get your wheels spinning with a bit of a tease for Codemaster’s GRID 2. A very brief glimpse of gameplay was released on the company’s official YouTube channel with a promise of a full trailer next week, on Feb 14. The new trailer only gives us a brief 44 second look at the game. We do see some pretty neat effects in action, including some rather convincing smoke effects – which at least impressed me. New Metal Gear Rising Weapons Trailer Released

Do you want an early look at some of the badass weapons that can be unlocked in Metal Gear Rising Revenageance? Of course you do! Konami’s latest trailer gives up the goods. The bosses in the Metal Gear franchise have always had access to insane weaponry. Whether it is Sniper Wolf’s rifle or Vulcan Raven’s gatling gun or Crying Wolf’s railgun, there have always been some awesome weapons of mass destruction at our disposal. We already knew about the devastating polearm, as we unlocked it at the end of our one hour demo of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, last month.

Superheroes Battle It Out For Fan Votes In WB’s New Campaign

We already knew that our favorite DC Comics characters were going to duke it out in NetherRealm Studio’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, but what we didn’t know was that the WB planned to launch a popularity contest weeks before the game’s release. Obviously this is meant as a way to drum up hype and support for the title before its April release, but this certainly is a neat approach. Kids Everywhere Rejoice As Skylanders SWAP Force Confirmed

Following up on news that Activision had silently registered several domain names for a possible Skylanders sequel, the publisher has unveiled Skylander’s SWAP Force for release presumably this fall on major console platforms (with no specifics available as of yet). SWAP Force’s new gameplay mechanic gives players the ability to customize their figures by swapping parts around. With 16 new swapable characters, kids are able to modify their characters attributes, move sets and physical appearance by taking them apart and re-configuring them. EA Sidelines Medal of Honor Franchise

I hope you don’t have your hopes up for a third modern Medal of Honor game. During last week’s investor’s call EA Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore announced that the publisher will be moving in a different direction in regards to their annual FPS release. Surely it had something to do with poor sales or an absolutely devastating meta critic score. Skyrim DLC Dated For PlayStation 3

GRID 2 Revs Up For Retail Release On May 28th

Codemasters’ GRID 2 will now cross the finish line into retail on May 28th 2013. In addition to the release date Codemasters’ has also revealed that a special edition will be available at the same time, supped up with additional content and special downloadable content. The standard version of GRID 2 is available for $59.99 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
