Journey | Review

Posted on August 3, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

ThatGameCompany’s Journey is a game that I had heard a whole ton of positive things about but I never got the chance to play it when it was originally released in 2012 on the PS3. Now that Tricky Pixels has ported the game to Sony’s latest platform and it is included in the 2015 Summer Play Sale now feels like the perfect time for me to take a Journey.

PlayStation Plus Has Been Going Strong For 5 Years

Posted on June 29, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

It’s hard to believe that it has been 5 years since Sony introduced PlayStation Plus. Long before the instant games collection went live in 2012 or the PS+ requirement for online play on PlayStation 4 went into effect PS+ has been offering subscribers discounts on digital content across all of Sony’s consoles. In a brief blog post Sony touched upon the fact that they’ve been able to provide subscribers with 350 games since the services launch. They’ve even got a surprise in the mail for those of you who have been subscribed since the very beginning – Sadly if your

Tomorrow marks the launch of the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIV: Heavansward for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and PS3. Players who pre-ordered the expansion have been able to set foot in the lands of Ishgard for the past three days during Heavensward’s early access period and I was fortunate enough to be granted passage through the borders of the long closed land. Here are my initial impressions of Heavensward after playing about the first ten hours.

Horizon Zero Dawn Looks Absolutely Fantastic

Posted on June 18, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

Guerilla Games has been pretty quiet about what shape their next PlayStation 4 exclusive would take. Two years after the release of Killzone: Shadowfall Guerilla took the wraps off of their latest project Horizon Zero Dawn during this week’s PlayStation Media Briefing at E3.  To say that this 7 minute debut trailer has me excited about the future of Sony’s latest platform would be doing Horizon a disservice, it is possibly the freshest new IP I’ve seen in years.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Heading To PS4

Posted on June 15, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

Square Enix showcased a teaser trailer for the long awaited Final Fantasy 7 remake at Sony’s E3 2015 press conference.
