Destiny’s The Taken King Comes Out Tomorrow, Let’s Take A Look

Bungie’s Destiny turned a year old this past week and with the near simultaneous release of the Destiny 2.0 patch and its latest expansion The Taken King the game looks a lot different now than when we originally reviewed it a year ago. Whether you are a returning Guardian already at the existing level cap ready to grind out some new gear or exploring the solar system for the first time we’re going to try and get you up to speed before the game launches tonight at midnight.

Mad Max Road Rages Onto PS4 / Xbox One / Windows PC

Avalanche Software and Warner Bros Interactive have kicked things into overdrive with the release of Mad Max for Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. PlayStation 4 COD: Black Ops III Beta Sets Record

Activision announced today that the PS4 beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III that ran from August 19th thru the 23rd enlisted millions of gamers to help stress test Treyarch’s latest FPS.  Black Ops III has set the record for the highest number of players playing a beta on the PlayStation Network according to a press release issued by Activison. Black Ops III Beta Available To All PS4 Owners

Activistion’s previously closed beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III is now open to everyone for about the next 24 hours. If you don’t mind the the hefty 13 gigabyte download you can try out three maps and several different game modes ahead of the next COD’s release this November. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 | Review

The Resident Evil series has seen brighter days and it is only beginning to undo the damage that Resident Evil 6 inflicted upon the franchise with entries like the recent HD remake of the original game heading to current generation consoles. Final Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Map Pack Out Sept 3rd

Call of Duty fans on Windows PC and PlayStation 4 will finally be able to get their hands on the last map pack, Reckoning, for last year’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on September 3rd Activision has announced. Combining four new multiplayer maps (see descriptions below) and a conclusion to the “Exo Zombies” mode originally introduced in the first DLC for Advanced Warfare this is sure to keep longtime fans glued to their screens until the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops III later this year. Capcom Finally Commits To Developing An HD Remake of Resident Evil 2

Fans have been clamoring for an HD update to Capcom’s 1998 classic Resident Evil 2 for well over a decade and now the publisher has announced that production on a reboot of the game has begun at Capcom R&D Division 1.  Capcom has been on a bit of a roll with the Resident Evil franchise after the polished re-tooling of the 2002 remake of the original RE sold over 1 million copies.
