Call of Duty Black Ops III Shadows of Evil Prologue Trailer

Posted on October 12, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

Black Ops III
What do a washed up magician, a private eye, a cabaret singer looking for her shot at the big time and an aging fighter have to do with each other? They’re the brand new protagonists in the latest Call of Duty Zombies experience – Shadows of Evil – shipping with the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Activision released the prologue trailer for this new mode and honestly it has a pretty neat 30s/40s Noir Vibe to the whole thing – I am really digging it. Let’s hope that each of these four characters get some growth over the

Dragon Age: Inquisition Game of the Year Edition | Review

Posted on October 10, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

Dragon Age is another in a strong list of BioWare franchises that has a strong, loyal, and sometimes fierce following; when games in their franchises try to hit a massive audience outside of their core user base things often get kind of messy and, unfortunately, as a result, good standalone games and franchise entries get dragged through the dirt. Inquisition is one of those games and, in an effort to try and re-establish itself with that wider audience and show some loyalty to its core audience, BioWare releases a Game of the Year edition to give those who either haven’t played the

Fallout 4’s Minimum Specs Might Leave Your PC In Ruins

Posted on October 10, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

Bethesda’s absolutely massive open world roleplaying game (that some people have successfully argued isn’t a roleplaying game but rather a society simulator) is due out in exactly a month and now we know the minimum PC Specs as well as the hard drive requirements for console players. Get ready to check your graphics cards and clear out your hard drive because the nukes are about to fall! In terms of minimum PC specs these numbers aren’t so bad – the Phenom II 940 is a rather old processor from about five years ago and anyone who’s upgraded their graphics hardware

Metal Gear Online 3 – First Impressions

Posted on October 6, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is now complete with the addition of its Metal Gear Online feature, the third of its kind in the franchise and it has never felt better. Like previous renditions, this version of MGO uses the engine of the game you have been playing alongside it for so long and turned the scenario on its head. You’re given a series of basic scenarios and it’s up to you to be the best damn infiltrator you can be.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six – Siege: A Closed Beta Report

Posted on October 6, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

Rainbow Six Siege
Writers Note: This beta was reviewed using the PlayStation 4 copy of the game. There was a time when I was actually pretty decent at FPS games: back when graphics on PC games weren’t as demanding so the variety of computers they worked on was greater, back when twitch shooting wasn’t the entire focus of gameplay, back when franchises like Rainbow Six focused on tactical play and thinking outside of the box. You see, I like FPS games when they demand a little more than being the quickest, most accurate trigger on the block. I like when FPS games require a lot

Posted on October 6, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

Adventurers seeking more time with Geralt in The Witcher III are about to have their wish granted with the release of the game’s first expansion, Hearts of Stone, which launches on October 26th. This time around Geralt must recruit a crew of break-in artists, spend a night with some ghoulish creatures all in the name of his quest to defeat the seemingly immortal Olgierd Von Everec. This trailer does a good job of explaining what is at stake in Hearts of Stone as well as explaining that perhaps Von Everec isn’t a cut-and-dry villain but perhaps more of a cursed

Hyperdimension Neptunia Vs. SEGA Hardware Girls Detailed

Posted on October 3, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

The world of Hyperdimension Neptunia is already a pretty bizarre place – consoles have been personified as videogame heroines, the world uses ‘credits’ as their currency and enemies resemble the ghosts from Pac-Man – but things are about to get even more rad with the inclusion of the ‘SEGA Hardware Girls’. In the upcoming game Hyperdimension Neptunia Vs. SEGA Hardware Girls Nep-Nep & CO. will take on personifications of classic SEGA hardware from the past thirty years. If you ever wanted to know what an officially sanctioned Dreamcast-tan looked like, you no longer have to wonder. The folks over at Idea
