30 Minutes of New Final Fantasy XV Footage Highlight PS4 / Xbox Differences

Square Enix posted thirty minutes of new direct-feed footage from the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XV to YouTube. To say that this footage is “new” might be a little subjective given that a large sections of this gameplay video were covered in Square’s 60 minute gamescom presentation a few weeks back. So what makes this footage interesting to analyze? The GamesCom footage was taken from the English dub and this new footage comes from the Japanese version, allowing fans to analyze script differences. MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death Story Trailer

MeiQ Title
The latest Compile Heart title headed on PlayStation Vita received a new trailer today giving some insight into MeiQ’s story. This dungeon crawling RPG features first person exploration, sort of like Etrian Odyssey but with actual triggered event style turn based combat. It looks to be quite the adventure and if anything, those of us who aren’t Vita owners can probably look forward to this title eventually making it’s way onto Steam like most Idea Factory titles in recent memory. Don’t Panic! Your Favorite Overwatch Agent Won’t Be Retired

Could some of our favorite Overwatch agents be retired? After an initial comment to Game Informer by Jeff Kaplan regards to the possibility of removing existing heroes the game director has taken to the official forums to expand upon his comments. Canadian PlayStation Plus Price Increase Is Anti-Consumer

North American gamers are facing the first price increase for PlayStation Plus in the services history the company stealthfully announced today. In a notice emailed to members whose memberships are about to lapse, including one on our staff, Sony outlined that the price of the service will be increasing on September 22nd in the North American region. On the PlayStation Blog an updated post read: “Starting on September 22, 2016, prices for PlayStation Plus memberships will change to $59.99 USD/ $69.99 CAD for twelve months and $24.99 USD/$29.99 CAD for three months. Killing Floor 2 Launches On PlaySation 4 This November

Tripwire Interactive’s co-operative FPS zombie slaying title Killing Floor 2 will be coming to PS4 in both digital and retail flavors on November 18th thanks to publishers Deep Silver and Iceberg Interactive. Killing Floor 2 was first playable on PlayStation 4 back at E3 where Tripwire demo’d the title on PlayStation 4 dev-kits, allowing attendees to try out the co-op action for themselves.  The PS4 version was originally revealed at the 2015 PlayStation Experience alongside a PS4 Developer Diary Video. Square Enix Makes Final Fantasy XV Delay Official

Square Enix announced during GamesCOM today that the rumored Final Fantasy XV delay is indeed official. The long awaited game will now make its debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on November 29th, 2016. The publisher also announced that the delay of the game will not affect the digital release fo the tie-in film, KingsGlaive: Final Fantasy XV, which is set to debut at the end of the month.
