Shadow Of Mordor Sequel Announced Today – New Trailer

Posted on February 27, 2017 by Les Major

Shadow Of War Trailer 1
The rumors are true! Middle-earth: Shadow of War is the official title of Monolith Productions next game in the series. I LOVED Shadow of Mordor and it’s certainly a title worth checking out to this day. The sequel continues the storyline and really begs to question if we’ll follow the canon at all, or if this really is a wild new tale of Talion versus Sauron where anything can happen. The original seemed to take liberties, but it’s still great just getting to explore a new vision of Tolkien’s fantasy world. Check out the trailer below! The game is on

Final Fantasy VII Remake Gets Two New Screenshots Showing First Boss

Posted on February 18, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Final Fantasy VII remake
Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII remake for current generation consoles might seem like vaporware given the fact that it has almost been two years since the initial reveal trailers’ debut but two brand new screenshots have surfaced showing the game’s first boss, Guard Scorpion. These screenshots come our way from the twitter of French gaming outlet The Share Players. Not only does one screenshot showcase the Guard Scorpion but another shows Cloud taking cover behind some crates. Cue the 30 minutes long YouTube analysis about the grainy screenshot’s HUD and other minor details. These two screens were taken by folks

The LEGO Batman Movie story pack comes with a physical Batgirl and Robin minifig. You know, that cute lovable dorky Robin from the trailers? Not just that but you also get a Batcomputer setup to build for the LEGO Dimensions Portal as well! So it’s a replacement portal like

Report: Square Enix Recoups Final Fantasy XV Development Costs

Posted on February 7, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Seems that Noctis, Gladio, Prompto and Ignis succeeded in one particular mission the first day that Final Fantasy XV was available to the public – breaking even on its development costs. The game’s director Hajime Tabata stated to DualShockers during a recent visit to the company’s Japanese offices for their Business Development Division that the game was profitable right from the start. Final Fantasy XV was a monumental success in the West with Square announcing that sales of the game had exceeded 5 million units on launch day so it is no surprise that Tabata & Co broke even right out of the gate.

The Intro To Torment: Tides of Numenera Has Me Hooked

Posted on February 6, 2017 by Les Major

Torment TON Title
In a pleasant surprise today, inXile provided me with an Early Access key to Torment: Tides of Numenera. I have to admit, it’s taking a LOT of willpower to not just get back into the game and ignore my regular duties. One kicker that is keeping me away is I don’t know if my early access save will carry over or not, so there is that at least. That and responsibility and all that good stuff of course. The best thing about Torment is how it feels like an early 2000’s RPG, and that truly is a plus. Built on

Bethesda Reveals Hi Res Texture Pack For Fallout 4, Lists Unannounced AMD Graphics Card In Requirements

Posted on January 30, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Bethesda has announced that both a high resolution texture pack for Fallout 4 on PC and support for the PlayStation Pro will be coming next week to the Boston wastes. The most interesting thing from their announcement has actually been pulled – the recommended requirement of a AMD 490 graphics card , a card which up as of right now does not exist. Perhaps the 490 listing was an error, or perhaps it really was a slip-up as AMD has not launched a new GPU since this past summer when they released the RX 480,  470 and 460. To utilize the

A leaked trailer for the upcoming Overwatch Lunar Festival event showcases not only quite a few new skins for Tracer, Bastion, Mei, D.VA and others but also a brand new mode Capture The Flag. It looks like a version of the trailer was posted on YouTube a bit early – the event is scheduled to start later today sometime after 9 AM PST. The streets of the desolated New York City in Tom Clancy’s The Division seemed barren for months until this falls 1.4 patch which saw thousands of agents descend into the chaos filled streets once more thanks to a number of positive changes to the game by Ubisoft & Massive Entertainment. Now the devs hope to not only retain players but provide lapsed agents with even more of a reason to come back to the game as they drop the next paid expansion – Last Stand. Bringing a brand new map set on a tropical island, a new mace & shield for the Berserker class, a new type of energy and the ability to cross-class certain weapon types – this update looks to kick off 2017 with a bang.
