Quite possibly the most beloved Final Fantasy title, Final Fantasy VII, will be going digital on Windows PC Square Enix confirmed this afternoon. FFVII was released 15 years ago, all the way in 1997, and has been revered by fans and critics alike. This digital release is perhaps the closest that we will get to an HD remake, despite Square Enix’s teases back before the release of the PlayStation 3. This updated version of Final Fantasy VIII isn’t just a straight port. The game features achievements, an editor that allows players to make out their stats, gain new items and

Blizzard Fixes ‘Act I’ Glitch For New Diablo Players

Posted on June 28, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Last week we reported that Blizzard had implemented several restrictions on new purchasers of Diablo III. Some of these restrictions were intentional, such as the inability to create private games or use the real money auction house, and some of them were the result of a glitch found after the restrictions were put into place. Players who buy Diablo III digitally will no longer be subject to the level 13 or be restricted to the first act of the game. They would will however not be able to access public games, the auction house or trader received items for up

Don’t Expect Starcraft Ghost Anytime Soon

Posted on June 18, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

A lot has happened in the past decade in terms of gaming, we’ve seen the launch and decline of the seventh generation of home consoles as well as Sony entering the portable space with the PSP and following it up with the PlayStation Vita seven years later. Perhaps no project, save Half-Life 3, has been as highly anticipated, and yet completely denied, as Blizzard’s Starcraft Ghost. Fans have waited anxiously for any update regarding the project since it was officially placed on hold in 2005. Speaking with Kotaku, Starcraft 2’s lead designer Dustin Browde says that the game is not
