Second Borderlands 2 DLC Leaked Via Trophies

Posted on October 18, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Borderlands 2
Gearbox Software just can’t seem to keep the DLC for Borderlands 2 a secret now can they? Are after the reveal of the first of several planned DLC add-ons earlier in the month through PS3 trophies, users have now mentioned “Mr.Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage”. Spotted by an eagle eyed reader over at Joystiq the description of this potential DLC reads “Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage 0%”.  Rumors surrounding the existence of the Torgue DLC sprang up in September just after the game launched. Keep your eyes on your trophies vault hunters, they might just lead you to the next big treasure!

TES V: Skyrim DLC Leaked? Possible Dragon Mounts?

Posted on October 16, 2012 by Joshua Rust

If any truth is behind the information hidden away in the PC version of the most recent patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it appears that the next DLC could be called “Dragonborn” and feature ride-able dragons. OXM reports: “Quest markers for Solstheim, Telvanni, Castle Karstaag, Raven Rock and Miraak Temple have been discovered, alongside entries for what appear to be four new armour varieties – Bonemold, Chitin, Nordic and Stalhrim. Finally, there are files for the aforesaid dragon-riding animations. Looks like you’ll be casting spells from dragon-back, too. “ This could be all too real. I’m sure with

Dead Island: Riptide Collector’s Edition?

Posted on October 16, 2012 by Jesse Lord

In a fit of genius, our friends at Deep Silver have created a survey to find out what you, their loyal fans, want most in a potential Dead Island: Riptide Collector’s Edition!  Keep in mind that right now this is just a fact-finding mission for them, and it in no way guarantees that 1) you’ll get the items you want the most from the survey and 2) there will even be a collector’s edition released! If you want to have your opinion known, go ahead and make with the clicking right about…… HERE. I’m personally quite excited about Dead Island:

A DmC Demo Is Coming, And Mundus Is Back

Posted on October 14, 2012 by Seung Lee

Great news for the few people that are actually excited for Ninja Theory’s DmC. Earlier at New York Comic Con, Capcom announced that the game will have a demo on the PS3 and Xbox 360, sometime before its actual release date. There was no word on a PC demo, though. In addition, Mundus has been confirmed to be returning in DmC. If you’ve ever played the first Devil May Cry, you’ll remember that Mundus was the Demon King and big bad, which Dante had to defeat. It’s probably safe to say that Mundus will also be the main villain in

Borderlands 2 – Captain Scarlett & Her Pirate’s Booty Coming Next Week

Posted on October 11, 2012 by Joshua Rust

It seems like only yesterday that we started talking about the potential upcoming dlc for Borderlands 2…wait, that was yesterday! Confirmed today by Gearbox and Randy Pitchford, Borderlands 2 – Captain Scarlett & Her Pirate’s Booty will be launching on marketplaces next week! I’m a bit amazed as to how quick Gearbox is releasing this new dlc so close to the games’ launch – but I won’t complain as I’m completely in love with Borderlands 2. I’ve got a few new images for the dlc that you can check out after the jump.

After receiving small tidbits of info all this time, with pictures and a short trailer, Rockstar Games’s highly anticipated GTA V is finally going to come out with a huge coverage by Game Informer. First Borderlands 2 DLC Leaked?

Posted on October 10, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Borderlands 2
UPDATE: I’ve found some screenshots to go along with this story as well (after the jump). According to some PC tech savvy people and the trophy list over at PS3trophies.com the first (presumably) dlc for Borderlands 2 will revolve around a new area called Oasis. It will also, again presumably, be called “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty.” Not really sure what the pirate trend is all about this year, but anything Borderlands 2 makes me all for it! Continue reading after the jump for more details!

Angry Birds Star Wars Games Announced

Posted on October 9, 2012 by Joshua Rust

It was bound to happen sooner or later. A franchise that knows no bounds, Angry Birds, is expanding its force by teaming up with Star Wars for a crossover. While it has been given a November 8th release date, the platforms aren’t all confirmed at the moment. But we will update you when we know. [youtube id=”lyB6G4Cz9fI” width=”600″ height=”350″] CMO of Rovio, Peter Vesterbacka, had this to say about the crossover: This is the best Angry Birds game we’ve ever done. It’s the best parts of Angry Birds with all new cutting-edge gameplay set in in a galaxy far, far away.

The World of Warcraft Killer

Posted on October 8, 2012 by Jason Bassett

Have you been playing World of Warcraft recently? Do you have the latest expansion Mists of Pandaria? Are you sitting there reading this and getting mad? Then you’ve probably hit the Mists of Pandaria hacker today on World of Warcraft. So, here’s the story by Dual Shockers: A level one player managed to hack the game to get to fly around the city and start killing innocent bystanders that just happened to be at the Alliance capitol city: Stormwind. Why was he doing it? Well, we do not have that information at this time, heck, we don’t even have the player that was

MW2’s Favela Is Being Benched, Possibly Forever

Posted on October 8, 2012 by Seung Lee

If you’ve ever played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, then you’ll probably remember playing on Favela, a map based on the Brazilian shanty towns. But, if you hop on MW2 right now, you’ll notice that it’s no longer in the map rotation for any of the game modes. That’s because some upset Muslims have banded together to demand Infinity Ward and Activision, the companies behind MW2, to remove the map from the rotation. It’s a shame because Favela was one of my favorite maps on the game, but instigating heated arguments here isn’t in my interest. Would it kill

Posted on October 6, 2012 by Joshua Rust

We are just a few short days away from the launch of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. What I’ll be interested to see about this game is how it stacks up in comparison to come of the older games in the franchise…and I do mean older games. If you have Steam, you can download the demo incase you are skeptical about this game. While we wait for the games release, check out the launch trailer! [youtube id=”kJLFNYhq1YM” width=”600″ height=”350″] XCOM: Enemy Unknown launches October 9th in the U.S. for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC!

Hitman: Absolution | Introducing The Kill

Posted on October 4, 2012 by Jesse Lord

IO Interactive, developers of Hitman: Absolution, have released another “INTRODUCING” video, this time showing all of us the multifarious ways in which we can dispatch our targets.  True to the assassin’s code, killing is very easy, but the rub is getting away without being found or accused.  Some people might like going in guns-blazing and leaving no one left to ask questions or make accusations, but others might like making things look like an accident.  Perhaps others would take a complete stealth approach, getting alone with the target, relieving him or her of their life and disposing of the body
