Resident Evil Revelations from 3DS Arriving on Consoles

Capcom confirmed today that Resident Evil Revelations is making the jump to home consoles in May. The game will be released at retail stores for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Nintendo Wii U across North America on May 21st and Europe on May 24th 2013. The title will also be made available for digital download on the same date on PS3 and PC. The PlayStation 3 game will retail for $49.99 and PC for $39.99. New Max Payne 3 DLC Coming January 22nd [UPDATED]

On January 22nd, Rockstar Games will be releasing the final Max Payne 3 DLC pack for all platforms. The company promises that the pack will be an action-packed pack which will contain new co-op and competitive modes, plus “other awesome treats” for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer. SimCity Beta Coming Soon

According to the official Twitter account for SimCity the game will be in open Beta from January 25th – January 28th. You’ll need to sign up for an Origin account if you don’t already have one and you’ll get to play an hour of the upcoming title. I for one am very excited for the release of the game. I’ve been a fan of the series for ages and have played the titles on numerous platforms. I even play the SimCity Social game on Facebook.

Bungie Set To Reveal Project Destiny At GDC?

With the 2013 Game Developers Conference (GDC) right around the corner, it seems that Bungie may finally be ready to reveal project “Destiny” to some capacity. Omerta City of Gangsters Has Gone Gold on Xbox 360 & PC

Dead Space 3’s Terrifying $160 Dev Team Edition Detailed

Looking for forward to EA’s Dead Space 3? Well, the publisher has unveiled the $160, Dev Team Edition, for the most hardcore necromorph hunters out there.  For an entry price like that you’ll get the game on your platform of choice (PS3, Xbox 360 or PC),  an 8 inch Black Marker statue, a Med Pack Water Bottle, 20 page note book filled with extra lore, an art book and post cards. There was a time when Collector’s Editions of blockbuster videogames were a little daunting with almost every triple AAA title releasing an version that costs nearly double the price.

Half Life 2’s “Return To Ravenholm” Episode Resurfaces

Did you know that Valve once worked with Dishonored developers Arkane on an expansion for Half Life 2 titled Return To Ravenholm? The project was cancelled over four years ago and was only acknowledged  by Valve staff last January, but we may have finally  got our first look at the cancelled project thanks to the folks at Valvetime. We haven’t had any solid details on the project, well ever, and even this brief glimpse comes with the caveat that there is no way to confirm if these screenshots are legit.

Fallout 4 Announcement Imminent?

Tomb Raider Multiplayer Video From Square Enix

I won’t lie and say that I was happy when Square Enix announced that Tomb Raider would be receiving a multiplayer component to a single player franchise.  I’m an avid Tomb Raider fan and while I know why developers/publishers want to include multiplayer in single player games sometimes I believe it affects the outcome of the single player game. While Square Enix has assured the media that it won’t have any effect on the quality of the single player campaign, I guess we will play the waiting game to see if that is indeed the case. Nvidia Announces Their Own Handheld

In surprising news from Nvidia’s CES press conference, the graphics card maker will be releasing a handheld that is not only running on Android, but can also stream PC content right to the devices 720p 5″ display (which is also a touchscreen). Code-named Nvidia Shield  boasts a camshell design that seems to close down with the area above the screen resting on the controllers dual joysticks.
