Hiring A Monetization Expert Won’t Save DOOM But It Could Improve Quake Champions

Id Software, developers of this year’s breakout shooter DOOM and the upcoming Quake Champions, are looking to bring aboard an expert on in-game monetization according to a recent job posting found online. While it is highly improbable that this will have any impact on DOOM’s existing player base it could have ramifications for the mostly still under wraps Quake project that is supposed to have a larger presence / possible release next year. Report: EVE Online Creators CCP Being Eyed For Buy-Out

It looks like the developers of popular MMORPG EVE: Online and the in-universe VR flight title EVE: Valkyrie might be entertaining offers from unknown 3rd parties interested in buying up the company from its current owners Novator Partners & General Catalyst Partners LLC. Supposedly CCP has been valued as high as $955 million US dollars, making the potential acquisition one of the highest in recent years. Lawbreakers Returns With New Trailer & Upcoming Beta

Cliff Bleszinski’s upcoming role-based team objective shooter Lawbreakers has returned onto the scene with a brand new trailer and news about the games upcoming beta. In a good way, The Sandbox Evolution feels like a PC port of a mobile game inspired by Scribblenauts. Then on top of that there’s also pixel art creation and interesting thermodynamic gameplay. Titanfall 2 Trial Coming For PC, Xbox One and PS4

Respawn Entertainment’s absolutely excellent first person mecha shooter Titanfall 2 will be getting a limited time multiplayer trial for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC via the Origin Client. Players who subscribe to the Origin Access (PC) or EA Access (Xbox One) can start the multiplayer trial – which is the full multiplayer suite – on November 30th, with everyone else getting access to the trial on December 1st. Killing Floor 2 Has Gone Gold On All Platforms

Tripwire Interactive and publisher Deep Silver have jointly announced that Killing Floor 2 has gone gold on PS4 and Windows PC. Drive Club Gets 16 Tracks From VR Version In Massive Update

Alright so I am a little late on this one – it actually went live on Halloween Night – but Sony has released a massive 6GB Patch for DriveClub. Adding 15 brand new tracks that were formally exclusive to DriveClub VR this update gives players even more content to play in Sony’s two year old racing title.
