Posted on September 14, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

It’s taken for granted that Wiiu ports of games like Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham Asylum include custom tablet interfaces that enhance the game’s inventory management. Well, those who choose to partake in commander Sheppard’s latest adventure on Nintendo’s next-gen machine will get two pieces of DLC for free:  Mass Effect 3 Extended Edition and From Ashes. Extended Edition adds additional content to the game’s ending, it was originally available for free for owners of the Xbox 360 & PS3 version before becoming a paid add-on. Metro 2033 Heading To The Big Screen

Posted on September 14, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

THQ’s Metro 2033 is heading to the big screen with help from producer Mark Johnson and writer F. Scott Frasier, Kotaku reports.  Johnson has worked on the likes of  Chronicles of Narnia and  Galaxy Quest. Fraiser only have a few writing credits, all of them videogame related, dating back to 1997. Metro 2003: Last Light, the next game in the post apocalyptic first person shooter franchise is due out sometime next year. Presumably the film and Last Light will have not tie into each other, as developing a feature film in under a year seems near impossible unless you are

Japanese WiiU Price & Date Revealed Tomorrow

Posted on September 12, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Speculation surrounding the WiiU’s price will end tomorrow, for the Japanese at least. In a similar fashion to their E3 Nintendo Direct events, the Big N will make the announcement via pre-recorded message streaming online rather than at a traditional press conference. Japan’s pricing structure and release date will be a solid indicator of what we can expect in regards to North America. Just don’t take it as concrete truth, the Wii launched in Japan almost two weeks after it’s North American counterpart and the Japanese currency is currently worth a little less at exchange than it was last decade.

No Nintendo Wii U News in September?

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Jason Bassett

If you got to watch the Nintendo Direct this morning, we bet you were probably a little disappointed by the outcome: No Wii U information. You did get a slew of new 3DS information, however. But, today Nintendo president: Satora Iwata killed any hope that information will be during the conference on his Twitter (if you can read that, then you are a wizard) feed: There are more than a few people who are thinking, ‘There will be a Nintendo Conference in September.’ I want to tell you in advance that the announcement of the Wii U in Japan is planned in

Rumor: Nintendo Wii U Launch Date Leaked? [UPDATED]

Posted on August 27, 2012 by Jason Bassett

UPDATE: Kotaku has an update to a story they posted about the Nintendo Wii U release. PDP Community Manager: Candice Hinton wrote: “At this time we can’t confirm Nintendo’s dates and we don’t know exactly what was heard, but we simply do not know that this point. We are launching accessories, but the date for the accessories doesn’t mean a confirmation on the hardware. If you seek confirmation on the date that is something that is going to need to go specifically though Nintendo, but we can’t confirm or deny dates on any of their hardware.” Original Story: The news

Nintendo is adding a new Pokémon to the Black and White series. Named Keldeo, this is a Water-type Pokémon that cannot be caught in the game. Rather players will be able to bring their DS or 3DS systems and a copy of Pokémon Black or Pokmon White to their local EB Games and collect it there. Keldeo is noted to excel at super effective moves against seven different Pokémon types: Normal, Fire, Ice, Ground, Rock, Dark, and Steel. However, Keldeo becomes even better when transferred to either Pokémon Black 2 or Pokémon White 2. Not only will trainers be able to transform Keldeo into

Rumor: Fallout 4 In Development, Set In Boston

Posted on August 21, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

The Fallout series might be taking another venture out to the east coast with the next installment in the revitalized Role-playing franchise. Reportedly the next installment which Bethesda Softworks is hard at work on will transport players to The Commonweath, also known as Boston Massachusetts. Members of Bethesda’s development staff have apparently been scoping out the MIT campus and the surrounding area, all the while working on the game. The connection to MIT is of particular interest, as IGN points out, because of “The Institute”, a future version of the school that is connected to a conflict involving deadly androids.

Dragon Age 3 To Add Co-op?

Posted on August 20, 2012 by Joshua Rust

First off, I want to clarify that this is clearly speculation and rumor at the current moment. But, if a recent social poll is to be believed it appears that the Dragon Age franchise could see co-op implemented into Dragon Age 3. While the poll doesn’t clarify that co-op will come to Dragon Age 3, it does give the option to vote for it as a potential feature. The potential plot for DA3 was given as well via NeoGaf: “The great nation of Orlais, the most powerful empire in Dragon Age, tears itself apart in civil war.” “The stout men and women of
