EA Sidelines Medal of Honor Franchise

Posted on February 4, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

I hope you don’t have your hopes up for a third modern Medal of Honor game. During last week’s investor’s call EA Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore announced that the publisher will be moving in a different direction in regards to their annual FPS release. Surely it had something to do with poor sales or an absolutely devastating meta critic score. While on the call Mr.Moore explained that Medal of Honor will be removed from Electronic Art’s bi-annual rotation, although he did not offer specifics as to what will replace it. Considering that Crytek, developer of the ever impressive Crysis

Nintendo Forecasting a Year-End Loss

Posted on January 30, 2013 by Jason Nason

Nintendo has sold just over three million Wii U systems worldwide between the system’s launch in November and the end of December. 1.3 million of those systems sold were sold in North America. The sales, while great, are off from initial forcasted expectations where the company had looked to sell 5.5 million consoles worldwide before the end of March. That forcast has been shifted to four million systems. Nintendo is blaming softer demand for older systems, including the original Wii.

Etrian Odyssey IV Class Profile Videos

Posted on January 29, 2013 by Les Major

If you enjoy Etrian Odyssey, you probably know what classes you’ll be picking already. These are moreso it seems for newcomers to the series, showing what the game has in store. For those who don’t know, Etrian Odyssey is an excellent dungeon crawl designed in the genre of classics like Eye of the Beholder. However with the touch screen on the DS, or rather 3DS this time, you can map out your adventure as you continue. I’m definitely excited for the games February 26th release. Read on to learn about some of the games classes.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Shows Stark Tower

Posted on January 27, 2013 by Joshua Rust

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes was just announced a few weeks ago through the Game Informer. It was such a big announcement that it even got cover honors on the magazine. I can’t explain how truly excited I was when I heard that this game was official. I figured that since WB owned Traveller’s Tales (Warner Bros. owns DC – just in case you didn’t know) that we would never see the likes of a Marvel Comics LEGO game ever. But thankfully the stars aligned and it was a dream come true. But enough of my rambling, on to the video

January 24th Nintendo Download

Posted on January 24, 2013 by Jason Nason

The Cave finally lands on the Wii U this week as the highly anticipated game is released. Plus the Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign, just announced yesterday, also makes its debut with Balloon Fight. A few more Wii U and 3DS titles, but nothing for the Nintendo Wii or the Nintendo DSi. That’s a shame. I really hope that there are more DSiWare titles in the pipeline.
