Injustice: Gods Among Us Version 1.06 Patch Notes

Probably a recurring question if you follow my Second Dimension: The Warriors Code interviews is the topic of patching fighters. On the 24th in the game’s official website, the notes for version 1.06 of Injustice: Gods Among Us was released and as usual, an inferno of praises and crying (mostly crying) soon followed. Toon Link Revealed For Super Smash Bros Wii U

The roster of Nintendo characters ready to battle it out in Super Smash Bros for Wiiu / 3DS expands with an entrant from the high seas – Toon Link! Fresh from his HD over makeover courtesy of the recently released Wind Waker HD, the younger version of link is ready to try his hand at melee on Nintendo’s latest home console. The Nintendo 3DS eShop is the focus again this week with a ton of new games available from full retail releases to new eShop titles. Retail releases Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl and Rune Factory 4 both hit store shelves and the eShop this week on Monday October 1st. The titles join a bunch of new eShop games including Family Table Tenis 3D and Carps & Dragons. Sega Purchases Index Corp, Owners of Atlus, For $141M

Index Corp, the troubled owner of third party publisher Atlus, has agreed to sell off their stake in the popular company to SEGA for the equivalent of $141 million dollars. Should everything go well the newly formed Sega Dream Corporation will take ownership of Index’s intellectual property and business operations no later than November 1st. This acquisition gives SEGA an ever-growing portfolio of long standing game franchises that will surely fit well alongside Sonic, Jet Set Radio and other classics. September 19th Nintendo Download

The Nintendo 3DS eShop is the focus this week with a ton of new games available from full retail releases to new eShop titles. EA Sports latest game in the FIFA series arrives on the 3DS with FIFA 14 hitting the eShop arriving on September 24th. Other full retail releases arriving include Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure and Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker 3D is also available this week with the digital version preceeding the retail release which won’t be in stores until a few weeks. CHARTED: Nintendo (Week ending Aug 31st)

Madden NFL 25 and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn were the big debuts in the North American charts this week, which dropped several Nintendo holdouts. The lone release in the top ten on a Nintendo console this week was Disney Infinity for Wii, which was the best selling platform for the game in its second week. The highest Nintendo release this week in North America was New Super Luigi U, which debuted at #11 with just over 23,000 units sold. The DSiWare service sees a boost today with three new titles, including two edutainment titles. The games, all from Enjoy Gaming Ltd, are Letter Challenge, Tales to Enjoy! Little Red Riding Hood and Tales to Enjoy! Puss in Boots. Nintendo’s hotly anticipated The Wonderful 101 will also hit store shelves and the Wii U eShop this Sunday and is included in the download. WayForward Launches Kickstarter for HD Shantae Game

WayForward is the latest game developer to turn to Kickstarter looking to crowd fund their latest project. The game will be a new and original game in the Shantae series and will be in HD for home consoles. WayForward has developed more than 200 licensed titles over the last 23 years, the most recent being Ducktales: Remastered. More Price Drops in the 3DS eShop

A few games on the Nintendo 3DS eShop are on sale and another handful have seen their regular price dropped this week. Included in the drops are Konami’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate which sees its regular price reduced by $10! The bulk of the other games are puzzle games with Puzzler World 2013 being slashed by 50% as well as Puzzler Brain Games. On the sale front Groove Heaven is on sale for $2.99 through September 19th as is BIT.TRIP SAGA which is a full $10 off through the 15th of this month. Take a look

Nintendo Drops the Price on Several Wii Games

Nintendo announced a price drop of three of their most popular Wii games today. The games have all surpassed the million mark in unit sales and have been reduced in price. The three Wii games which are now available for a lower price are Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii Sports Resort. September 5th Nintendo Download

Nintendo has released a bunch of new games this week in the eShop, including a couple of games from Capcom and a bunch of nice looking new 3DS eShop games. Capcom’s classic role-playing game Breath of Fire II hits the Wii U Virtual Console today and joins Capcom’s eShop D&D game Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. Special Pokemon 3DS XL Systems Coming

Nintendo unveiled a special limited edition of the Nintendo 3DS XL today among the several Pokémon related releases. The limited-edition Nintendo 3DS systems come in both blue or red and feature the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal. The bundle will be released on September 27th! With the bundle coming out a few weeks prior to the release of the game itself it’s surprising that the special edition 3DS XL doesn’t include a copy of the game. The full retail copies of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be released both in stores and on the eShop on October 12th.

Mega Evolutions Coming To Pokémon X and Y

Much of this could be considered to be spoilers if you’re looking to learn about all this content in game. Pokémon Bank Launches On Dec 25th In Japan

Arriving on December 25th in Japan for an aproximately $5 USD annual fee, gamers will be able to store their Pokémon Black and White (1 and 2 it seems) as well as X and Y to a cloud based service. This is useful for fans who want to use their Black and White Pokémon to X and Y via a feature called “Poké Transporter.” The Pokémon Bank will allow gamers to store their collection of Pokémon to a cloud with 100 boxes, which totals up to 3000 Pokémon in total. Club Nintendo Rewards – September 2013

The month of September has brought four new downloadable game rewards for Club Nintendo members, including Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!. The game is one of two that are available for the Nintendo 3DS, the other is Art Academy: First Semester!! The two games for the Nintendo Wii this month are a couple of Virtual console titles in Pilotwings and Zoda’s Revenge: StarTropics II. All four titles are available until October 6th.
