Xbox One Ships 1 Million In Under 24 Hours

Posted on November 25, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Although there have been reports of the Xbox One having issues, that’s not stopped it from selling over 1 million consoles in less that 24 hours. Following similar success from the Playstation 4 it looks as if both consoles are off to a great start. In the UK, the Xbox One sold over 150,000 consoles which is double the figure of the Xbox 360’s launch numbers – and puts it just a few thousand units away from topping the Wii U’s lifetime sales in the UK (which launched December 2012). Other interesting stats over the first 24 hours… Over 60 million zombies have been killed in

Traveller’s Tales, creator of the fantastic LEGO games, has announced today a new LEGO game based off a popular book series that you may have heard of…LEGO The Hobbit. While some may see these as kids games, I’ll have to give TT credit because the last few games (LEGO Batman 2, LEGO Marvel, LEGO Lord of the Rings), have been exceptionally fun – yes, even for a “kids game”.

New Cartoons Breathe Fresh Life into Nintendo Video

Posted on November 17, 2013 by Jason Nason

Well Nintendo released the first few episodes of The Legend of Zelda: The Misadventures of Link over the last weeks on Nintendo Video. The videos are short as expected, topping up at just over a minute. The first such short little video just has Link, in the polygonal art style of The Wind Waker, crawling through a tunnel collecting rupies before he is dropped through the floor. The video isn’t anything to write home about but I must say that I love the continued addition of added content to Nintendo Video and not just more music videos. Personally I didn’t

Mario Party: Island Tour is set to hit the Nintendo 3DS next week, and will be the twelfth video game in the series and the third on a portable system. The very first time the crew got together for some board game mini-games shenanigans was way back in 1998 on the Nintendo 64. Since then there were three N64 games, four Gamecube games and

Posted on November 13, 2013 by Jason Nason

Nintendo will be updating the 3DS next month which will see a few new features added to the handheld. One thing that many users have been clamouring for is the combination of eShop balances between the 3DS and Wii U. Right now when you add funds to your 3DS those funds are only available on the handheld. In the same respect funds added to your Wii U for eShop purchases and downloads are only usable on your Wii U.
