Two New Nintendo 3DS Systems Coming this Fall

Nintendo announced two special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL systems to be released this fall, one of which will be a Gamestop exclusive. The announcement came at the GameStop Managers Conference in Las Vegas. The first is an Animal Crossing themed bundle, which will launch in the U.S. on September 25th. The bundle includes the new hand-held system, the upcoming Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer game, two cover plates and one amiibo card, and will retail for $219.99.

Bowser, Toad, and Yoshi Wii Remotes Coming

Nintendo is set to debut of three new Wii Remote Plus controllers inspired by classic Mushroom Kingdom characters Bowser, Toad and Yoshi. Joining previously released Wii Remote Plus controllers themed after Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, three new controllers inspired by Bowser, Toad and Yoshi will launch exclusively at GameStop. Retailing for $39.99 each, the Bowser and Toad controllers will launch alongside the Super Mario Maker game for the Wii U console on the 11th of September. Smaller New Nintendo 3DS Coming To North America!

The smaller version of the New Nintendo 3DS is finally making its way to North America according to a Nintendo press release released after the first day of the GameStop Expo. Fans of the big N’s hardware have been eagerly awaiting the North American release of the smaller N3DS as Japan and other territories have had access to it for some time. Watch Nintendo’s XenoBlade Chronicles X Panel

Nintendo held an hour long presentation for their upcoming open world RPG Xenoblade Chronicles X at PAX Prime in Seattle this weekend and they’ve posted the entire presentation on YouTube for all to Enjoy. The majority of this presentation focused on the evolution of the game’s art style over the course of development. Members of the North American localization team were on hand to walk us through early character designs all the way through to the final versions seen in the game. Nintendo 2DS Price to Drop August 30th

Nintendo announced that the price of the Nintendo 2DS will be lowered permanently as of August 30th. The suggested retail price of the portable Nintendo 2DS system drops to $99.99, down from the current suggested retail price of $129.99. Super Mario Maker Supports Sonic, Pit & Splatoon Amiibo

Remember a few months ago back at E3 when Nintendo revealed that certain Amiibo like the Wii Fit trainer would change Mario’s sprite in Super Mario Maker?  Well it turns out you can earn this skins for the red plumber without forking over nearly forty bucks for a Wii Fit trainer or other rare Amiibo.
