3DS Update adds French to Yo-Kai Watch

Nintendo has added an update to add French language to Yo-Kai Watch. Once you’ve downloaded the latest Nintendo 3DS system update you can download a software update to play the game in French. The change isn’t immediately noticeable and requires that you change your system language to French. In this update to Yo-Kai Watch, which updates the game to Version 1.2, the text AND all of the voiceovers in the game will change to French. Warning though as this is a large update and takes 4,032 blocks on your SD card. The full English version of Yo-Kai Watch is 6,638

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Launch Trailer

Nintendo has released the official launch trailer for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U. The game will be out next Friday – March 4th – bundled with a special Wolf Link Amiibo that unlocks a hidden set of challenges. Pokémon Sun and Moon Coming to 3DS Holiday 2016

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company officially unveiled Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon today, one day removed from a leak online as official trademark filings were dug up yesterday. The games will be released for the Nintendo 3DS in holiday 2016. Also announced was the ability to use the Pokémon Bank to transfer Pokémon you’ve caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow into your copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. Byte 4 Games Working On “Mech Super eXtended” For Nintendo NX

Spanish developer Byte 4 Games appears to be working a new title for the as of yet unrevealed next console from Nintendo, codenamed “NX”. According to the project’s Game Designer / Director’s LinkedIn profile the studios’ unannounced NX projects may be titled “Mech Super eXtended” and could also be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. A cursory google search for the game’s title reveals no information on the title and Byte 4 Games’ official website and social media presence is currently focused on their multiplatform arcade shooter Demon’s Crystal which was revealed last July. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon Leaked Day Ahead Of Nintendo Direct Conference

Nerdleaks.com, a website known for hunting down info and posting it to the public before their official announcements, has just leaked the names and logo’s for the new Pokemon games. Nintendo has registered the trademarks of “Pokemon Moon” and “Pokemon Sun”, along with their corresponding logo’s. It’s been almost three years since the last generation of games (X and Y) came out. With the 3DS sales number slowing somewhat in recent month, this may help the handheld pick up the pace until Nintendo decides to announce a new one.

Medabots Arrive on Wii U Virtual Console Today

Nintendo Schedules Pokémon Direct on Friday

Nintendo has scheduled a Nintendo Direct for this Friday. The direct is called “Pokémon Direct” and is set for one day before Pokémon Day, which sees the Virtual Console releases of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Expect to see information about those VC titles, Pokémon GO, and Pokkén Tournament. The Pokémon Direct presentation is scheduled to start at 10:00am ET.

Rising Star Games has released another trailer for their upcoming RPG Sadame. The upcoming action/RPG title launches on February 25th to the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo 3DS System Updated to Version 10.6.0-31U

It’s been just over a month since the last system update, but the Nintendo 3DS firmware has been updated again. This is a very minor update which updates the 3DS system from version 10.5.0-30U to version 10.6.0-31U. There aren’t any big changes in this update, with the only text on the update the very same as last month’s update. The text from Nintendo as follows: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Steamworld Heist DLC on the Way

The folks at Image & Form posted a new Q&A on Friday, in which they answered questions from fans about a number of things, but primarily SteamWorld Heist. One of the questions involved ports of the title, which was made for the Nintendo 3DS eShop last fall. There are plans to port the game to just about every platform, including PC, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Wii U, and iOS. The developers haven’t decided on which platform will see the first port.
