Engine bringing original Gunslugs coming to 3DS

Engine Software announced today that they are bringing the original Gunslugs to the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Last year Engine Software published the chaotic, frantic and heavily stylized 2D shooter Gunslugs 2 on the 3DS eShop. The game, created by developer OrangePixel, was the sequel to Gunslugs. It hit the 3DS eShop last October. Based on the community feedback for Gunslugs 2, the 3DS release of Gunslugs will feature leaderboards. Gunslugs be released on the 3DS eShop in the next few weeks, though the exact release date has not been finalized. The game will cost $1.99 USD. You can check out

Legendary Pokémon being distributed this month via Nintendo Network

I was surprised on Sunday morning. Knowing that I would have to venture to EB Games for this month’s Pokémon I popped in my copy of Pokémon X and went to the recieve gift option anyway. Pokémon Rumble World now available in retail stores

Pokémon Rumble World for the Nintendo 3DS was released as a free-to-start title in the eShop just over a year ago. Released on April 8th, 2015 the game finds players battling and befriending more than 700 Pokémon, including some that Mega Evolve! You’ll travel on your hot-air balloon and battle in 18 different areas with more than 80 stages. The more Toy Pokémon you collect, the more ways you have to defeat Toy Pokémon you’re facing. Squid Sisters Amiibo Set Announced For July Release

Nintendo of America has announced that a double set of new Amiibo fashioned after the Squid Sisters from last year’s Splatoon will hit American retail on July 8th for an MSRP of $24.99 USD. The set will unlock new songs and dance moves to be used in the game, according to the trailer they will also unlock some fresh tracks for your stylish squid-kid to enjoy.

New DLC Maps Headed to Fire Emblem Fates Starting May 5

The second round of DLC maps for Fire Emblem Fates is on the way, with the first round arriving next week. Starting May 5th, the first map, I: In Endless Dreams, can be downloaded for only $0.49 USD, with subsequent maps launching weekly until June 9th for $1.99 USD each. As with before fans that want to automatically receive each new map as it releases can do so by purchasing Map Pack 2 for $7.99 USD. This take on the Star Fox series, the first console release since 2005, brings with it a unique control scheme that has players looking at the Wii U game pad and television screen simultaneously. Nintendo: Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem apps on the way

Get ready for at least two more Nintendo apps for your smart phone this year. Nintendo announced that its next two mobile apps will be based on Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing franchises. Nintendo plans to release both of these applications this fall. For Fire Emblem, Nintendo plans to make it more accessible in comparison to the Fire Emblem games for Nintendo’s gaming systems. Miitomo reaches 10 million worldwide users

Nintendo provided some updates for multiple games this morning, with some news about their first mobile application: Miitomo. Nintendo reported that their first app for smartphones and tablets has surpassed 10 million unique users worldwide. The free-to-start social experience app launched in Japan on March 17th and in a variety of other countries, including Canada, on March 31st. In the United States, Miitomo reached #1 free app status in its various online stores shortly after release. As well more than 20 million Miifotos have been created.

Legendary Pokémon Darkrai Available at EB Games on May 1st

Metroid Prime: Federation Force dated for August 19th

Nintendo has announced via their social media channels that their upcoming Nintendo 3DS game Metroid Prime: Federation Force will launch on August 19th! While many seem to have to resent the game, I think it honestly looks kinda fun.
