Teyon set to release Mini Golf Resort on 3DS next week

Teyon announced today that they are releasing an new minigolf game in the Nintendo 3DS eShop next week. The game, called Mini Golf Resort, will hit the North American eShop next Thursday, December 22nd. The Mini Golf Resort will come packed with 56 courses in four unique worlds. Worlds included are Pirate’s Bay, Spooky World, Pyramids of Egypt and Legends of Greece. The game will feature a combination of real golf club rules and wacky mini golf fun as you shoot your ball through pipes, up extreme ramps and around crazy obstacles towards the hole. Okay so the Animal Crossing amiibo haven’t been a huge success when it comes to the rest of Nintendo’s figures. Part of that is likely due to the lackluster reception of last year’s Animal Crossing amiibo Festival and the resulting over-saturation and under-selling of the figures. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero launches Dec 20th for PlayStation, Dec 27th for Wii U

XSEED Games announced on Friday that the retail edition of the crowd-funded action game developed by WayForward, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, is nearly ready for release. The game will launch for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on December 20th while the game will hit the Wii U one week later on December 27th. Miitomo updated to version 2.1

On Thursday morning Nintendo rolled out a minor update to Miitomo, with the update going live at 6:00 AM Eastern time. The update brings the application to version 2.1 and introduces a few new features to the game. With version 2.1 you can now share what your Sidekick Mii characters think. It’s not just your main Mii who can answer questions anymore and your Sidekick Mii characters can too. Mercenaries Saga 3 to be released December 15th

Circle Entertaiment confirmed today via social media that upcoming title Mercenaries Saga 3 will be released in North America in the Nintendo eShop next week. Developed by Rideon and released in Japan earlier this year, Circle will release the game in the Nintendo 3DS eShop sometime on December 15th. The game is the follow up to Mercenaries Saga 2 and looks and feels very reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Report: Nintendo Switch Will Have GameCube Virtual Console Support

Nintendo’s next console may come with support for GameCube virtual console titles if tweet by a well known industry insider is to correct. The deputy news editor for outlet EuroGamer, which originally broke the news of the detachable Nintendo Switch “Joy-Cons”, has posted on twitter that the upcoming Nintendo Switch will have GameCube emulation support for the third iteration of the Virtual Console. Kutar confirmed for Europe December 15th; Circle teases new 3DS game

Circle Entertainment confirmed the Eurpoean release date for the Kutar series of mini-games. The games will release in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia on December 15th. Circle Entertainment also teased that they have a new title in the works, which is on the way to the western 3DS eShop. No other details were released about the game, though the indie studio did promise more information soon. The game teased was called simply “Frontier Days Founding Pioneers.”

Mercenaries Saga 3 could be released in December

Circle Entertaiment shared this morning via social media that upcoming title Mercenaries Saga 3 is nearly ready for release in North America. Developed by Rideon and released in Japan earlier this year, Circle is hoping for a release in the Nintendo 3DS eShop sometime in mid-December. The game is the follow up to Mercenaries Saga 2 and looks and feels very reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. New Pokémon GO nearby feature rolled out to rest of North America

Niantic announced today that they have rolled out their revamped nearby Pokémon feature for Pokémon GO to the rest of the continental United States and large parts of Europe today. The roll out includes the rest of Canada as well. The new nearby Pokémon feature now includes the nearest PokéStop to the Pokémon, and zooms in to show more detail when tapped. You can also tap on the tracks on this screen and the game shifts to an overhead map briefly to show you approximately where you can find the Pokémon. Retail release Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo pushed back

For those who didn’t pick up Animal Crossing: New Leaf before and are waiting for the updated retail release Welcome amiibo to hit stores, you may have to wait just a bit longer. Originally scheduled to be released on Friday, December 2nd, Nintendo.com now lists the release date just shy of a week later on December 8th. The move could possibly be to spread out Nintendo’s releases, with Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS also releasing on Friday.
