Monster Hunter Generations wraps up free DLC line-up with January release

Since the game was released back in July, Nintendo and Capcom have been releasing a series of free DLC packs for Monster Hunter Generations, but alas all good things must come to an end. January brings the start of another year but the end of the free DLC packs. The final DLC pack comes packed with some of the deadliest quests in the game, featuring multiple Hyper Monsters back-to-back or even at the same time! Pokémon Sun / Pokémon Moon | REVIEW

Before Nintendo officially announced Sun and Moon I made a list of predictions of what I expected Nintendo would announce this year. Atop that list was another Pokémon game but it wasn’t a brand new game that I had predicted. As with tradition I thought that we would surely be getting Pokémon Z, a third game companion to X & Y. Third games have become a tradition after the first pair of games. Well I was wrong and we didn’t get Z; we got something even better. Game Centered Nintendo Switch Live Stream Announced For Jan 13th

Snakebyte Announces Line of Accessories For Nintendo Switch

Nintendo’s upcoming hybrid Switch console doesn’t have an official release date, only a handful of confirmed titles or price but accessory creator Snakebyte have taken the opportunity to announce a line of accessories for the upcoming console at CES 2017. Cube Life: Island Survival coming to Switch and PS4

Indie developer and publisher Cypronia has announced that the new version of its best-seller, Cube Life: Island Survival for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Cube Life: Island Survival was the first block building open-world survival game for the Nintendo Wii U eShop and has since topped the charts for indie games in the eShop. The game was originally released in June 2015 and received an update earlier in the year. The new version of Cube Life: Island Survival will be released for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in late Spring 2017.

Lightwood teases new puzzle game

Lightwood Games teased a new game title in the form of an interactive holicay card today. The game, called “Pic-a-Pix Color”, with the spelling appropriately corrected to “Pic-a-Pix Colour” in Europe, is a game similar to Picross games. The colour element sets this game apart from other Picross games, and adds additional rules so that puzzles require a slightly different mindset to solve. The puzzles are designed by Conceptis Ltd, the leading supplier of logic puzzles to print and digital media around the world and the developers have access to a massive library of beautiful pixel art puzzles.

Nintendo to preview Switch right after January Presentation

Nintendo plans to reveal additional details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch during the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 on January 12th, 2017, and then shortly thereafter they’re taking the Switch on tour. The Metroidvania style of game is one that many people have fond memories of, especially if you grew up in the days of the original Metroid and Caslevania games (where the genre name comes from) on the original NES.
